“Hestia Modern Asian Rooftop is a beautiful dining destination in Charlotte with an atmosphere that makes it well-suited for special occasions or elevated evenings out. While the outdoor rooftop was reserved for a private engagement party during my visit, the indoor space still offered lovely views and a sophisticated, well-curated ambience with comfortable seating throughout. The culinary highlight of the evening was unquestionably the sea bass - expertly prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. It stood above everything else on the table. The sushi, sampled from a friend’s order, was also quite good. The mocktail I ordered was enjoyable, though not particularly distinctive. The salad, while interesting, leaned very sweet - almost dessert-like - which may not be to everyone’s preference. Overall, Hestia delivers a refined dining experience with an impressive setting. I would recommend it, particularly for celebrations or date nights, and would return to explore more of the menu.”

“Seafood / Sashimi Tower Ribeye Couple of Rolls Veggie Fried Rice Strawberry Cake Amazing experience with Jasmine. Food was so so delicious. Sashimi was abundant portion on the tower. Cold Shrimp, Oysters uniquely seasoned. Very very high quality fish across the board. Ribeye for $66 was a very nice size. Enough for my wife and I to share 1/3 + 2/3. Fried Rice was 🤯. Some of the best I’ve had. Great contrast of textures and bold flavors of umami and slight sweetness. This place is one of the best date spots in Charlotte if you want delicious food without that heavy feeling afterward. Sushi Chef came out mid way and checked on us and recapped all the offerings. You could tell he cared a lot about it. Slam Dunk”

“Visited on Friday Feb 13th and had a fabulous time! Had reservations for two at 7:30pm and it was already buzzing with excitement. We were immediately sat and immediately taken our drink orders. Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. They offered lemon, lime, and orange slices for your water which I thought was a GREAT touch as im a lover of lemon in my water. Husband and I decided on their "Love of sea" Valentines dinner. Consisted of two lobster tails and a 20oz Tomahawk steak with broccolini, coconut curry rice and fingerling potatoes. It was very delicious! The steak was cooked medium and perfection. The lobster tails were very tasty and there was not a thing wrong with the meal. Everything has cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. We will definitely come back and try other things on their menu. It is a little pricey but I feel like its worth it. The drinks were delicious as well. Tried a Valentines rose infused drink, it was not my favorite as rose isnt a preferred taste of mine in a drink but other than that, no other complaints! Located in ballantyne shopping center. During peak times, parking can be hectic and crazy but they do have a parking deck to help make it easier.”

“We had a BLAST here! Tons of small plates and they were ALL delicious! The sushi rolls Tokimeki, Natsu , Hestia roll , Salmon kumo are THE BEST 🔥! They're top 3 of my favorite freshest sushi in town - each roll, nigiri 🍣, and sashimi was AMAZING! Drinks are 🔥 too! My fave is the Smore Martini 🍸🍸. Last but not least, server Kelly is THE BEST 💖!”

“The omakase experience was truly wonderful. It's the largest variety of fish I've ever had in a single sitting. Chef Eiji and team were a delight to watch as they crafted sashimi and nigiri 3ft in front of us! The chefs were expert and enthusiastic in their work. Yes, it's expensive. However, it was also the best fish I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The black cod was our absolute favorite! No beverage pairing for the omakase experience was a bit of a letdown, but we found a bottle of sake that paired wonderfully for all 16 courses. They kept the dishes coming at a breakneck pace. As we were finishing each bite, the next was already in front of us. We moved through all 16 courses within 90min, which was incredible to observe in the kitchen. While it may be best reserved for a special occasion, I highly recommend Hestia omakase for lovers of Japanese food and/or seafood!”
