“We did a Saturday evening meal and also stayed here. They have a steak night on Friday and Saturday. Don’t let the title confuse you because steak night actually has a steak as an option or fish, pork or chicken. And it comes with a salad and two sides. It was very well cooked. I had the pork chop, which was delicious and my husband got the ribeye. Part of the building is a historical landmark. It’s all very well decorated the stuff was really pleasant. It’s great for a date night and can also work well for large parties. The actual gardens around the restaurant are stunning. Garden is primarily made up of Texas natives. The butterflies were out of full force and it was beautiful. After a day of drinking wine it was actually really nice to sit down and not have alcohol. While the alcohol menu is extensive and very well done, they also have mocktails. We had the fresh lemonade, which was delicious.”
