In the spring, delight in the sight of Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a magnificent array of other springtime blooms. Summer brings the vibrant colors of cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias, and other warm-weather flowers. As fall arrives, while our fields prepare for the next year's burst of color, our Nursery remains stocked with an array of options for fall planting. The grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms are adorned with colorful plants, and the shops themselves are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden enthusiasts. In addition to the stunning natural beauty, we offer a remarkable experience for wine and beer aficionados. Our 55-acre vineyard produces a delectable array of estate-grown wines, available in both sweet and dry varieties, which you can enjoy in our welcoming tasting room. For those who prefer hops to grapes, our on-site brewery serves up a delicious selection of craft beers, each brewed to perfection. “This place is very big. Plenty of parking. A huge gift shop, place to eat, and walk. So many plant options along with flowers. You may buy seeds. Take photos. It's so beautiful overall. There are beautiful butterflies and the occasional bees collecting from the flowers. I highly recommend going by for some shopping!”

“This farm is incredible! John & Marilyn have created an entire ecosystem of beauty and fantastic wine! We had the great honor to get to meet the two owners while there. John could regale a person for hours with a lifetime of stories filled with humor and charm, & Marilyn is so warm and talented! They are the world's leading producer of wildflower seeds.... Literally distributed worldwide. Be sure to try the award-winning wines, and pair with a delicious cheese platter. Also, if you have an opportunity to do so, take a cruise on the vineyard pontoon boat docking from the redneck elevator. Iykyk! They do offer live music on Fridays in their wine bar, and they have a wonderful selection of local honey, jams, nut butters, and bath products in addition to a lovely general store that offers everything from a large selection of plant seeds to clothing to garden paraphernalia. Admittedly, if I lived in the area, or had a big enough car, I would have taken atll the beautiful plants home! Lastly, if you're a cat lover, you will be in fur baby heaven amongst the well taken care of and loved kitties. I'm sure, as is always the case, the cat's own the farm, and everyone else is just passing through! 😊”
