“Picked here to celebrate birthdays. No regrets, love the menu and so many drink options. Favorite item in our group was the bagel crisps appetizer, and the sauce for pancakes was fabulous along with the pancakes of course. Disappointment was no gluten free batter for french toast. Will definitely return sooner than later.”
“Oh my.. I can't say enough about this restaurant. I love the concept and the food is amazing! I had the Elvis French toast. I have never heard of peanut butter cream cheese before but it was amazing with real homemade maple syrup. WoW! My son had their banana bread cakes - wow! Mini donuts 🍩 with chocolate ganache was so good. We definitely ate too much. They have cards on the table where you can write down anything you want the staff to pray over - what a cool concept!!! It totally makes a person feel heard and not alone. This restaurant was an amazing experience, great food and unbelievable staff - so friendly! I'm taking everyone I know to this restaurant. It's a feel good place to eat- again I love the concept but the food for sure will have you coming back. They recommend making a reservation because they get busy. There are a lot of food choices vegan, gluten free and more.”
“Some of the best breakfast I’ve had, really. 🙌🏾 I ordered the farmer grazer with spicy tofu and JustEgg. The whole dish was seriously flavorful, the potatoes were so good and everything went well together. It was also a very sizable portion. I also had an iced oat milk latte with vanilla that was very well crafted. The service was very kind and attentive for being so busy. I enjoyed the atmosphere with the barista area, and engaging wall art. I would absolutely come back here!”
“Was very excited to try this new place in Blaine. I had been to the West Ends location once. Took a dear friend out for breakfast and it was really good with big portions. The coffee is good. The ambiance is fun, very modern. It's not your typical breakfast food, I would categorize this as a "foodie" place if you're into that. I'm not a breakfast snob, but it was super good. Great service, nice waitress. Happy Blaine is getting more restaurant options. We ordered the Hope Breakfast and a side of French Toast - we couldn't eat it all. Pictured below is the Vietnamese Coffee and the Butterscotch Latte which were both delicious!”
“Disappointed. Don't waste your energy. This place is all hype but doesn't deliver in service or food quality. Went there for brunch and our waitress was friendly and gave us suggestions on what to get. She told us a drink was her favorite. It was horchata latte. It's supposed to be hot but it was warm. I mean warm as in Lukewarm. It took a long long time for us to get our drinks. We waited for probably 20 minutes before we got our drinks. A family of 4 came in after us sat down, and had their food before our server came back. A different server handed us the drinks. The horchata latte was not hot. I got a mimosa and it was half full. I thought is this a joke? We had our drinks for another 15 minutes before our server came back to ask us what we wanted to eat. I ordered the chili crunch bowl. It was so so. The jasmine rice was overcooked and mushy in some parts. The aioli tasted like they squirted craft mayo on the bowl. They aoili can go unless they add some sort of seasoning. I was skeptical of the grits strictly because the description said it had Old bay seasoning. I ordered them but shouldn't have. They tasted like they had cream in them. They also had shaved parmesean cheese...they tasted nothing like grits. The grits were warm the cheese wasn't all the way melted. The chili crunch bowl was OK I wouldn't order anything I got today again. I was looking forward to a nice brunch with my sister and I was highly disappointed. You have to make a reservation because the place is so busy, but if the food quality is based on what i had today I wouldn't go back. The prices are very reasonable. The presentation was nice but the taste was not there. Imagine biting into a chili crunch bowl expecting bold spicy flavors, then you get a mouthful of mayo that doesn't pair well with the other flavors. Sorry this place is a no for me. The other thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was that after paying, my sister and I chatted for maybe 10 minutes then the server told us that the hostess said our reservation was over. We left without a comment but I was thinking: ma'am, we waited for 30 minutes before you even took our order. You also gave me a water with a straw already in it and the cup had a mouth print on it. Also having gnats flying around my mimosa and salad made me lose my appetite. Where are gnats living when it is -10 degrees outside? You gave me a half full mimosa and my sisters drink looked like a bunch of mush. My sister got some kind of toast with a bunch of stuff of it. It looked pretty, but when she cut the toast, it looked mushy because the bread was soggy. I think this place has the ability to really have repeat customers if they improve their food quality. I would like the cook to taste the grits and see if they taste like grits. The atmosphere is bubbly there, but it just seems overly hyped up. I saw another review that said they wouldn't spend longer than 10 minutes there to wait. I agree. Disappointing because I was ready to make multiple plans to come back with my husband, and other family and friends. I cannot recommend this place, which is unfortunate. I can't say that it was because they were busy, because you and encouraged to book a reservation so the restaurant should know that they will be busy. I'm not sure what happened today but everything was underwhelming. We didn't get any of the desserts or pancakes or sweet stuff. All of it had a beautiful presentation. If you decide to go here, make sure you have a reservation, it's busy.”
