“Absolutely my favourite place. We went to celebrate our anniversary. The beef was so good, must have here! The bulgogi was just nice, but wouldn’t say that it’s a must order. The staffs were really welcoming, warm and helpful. Will definitely go again!!”

“I visited Jeju a few days ago, and it was absolute perfection. First off, our server, Jenny, provided some of the best service I have ever experienced in my life. She checked on our table after every dish, making sure the flow of our meal was never interrupted. You could really tell how much attention and care she was putting into her work. She truly made our night and completed our day. The food was just as flawless as the service. The Galbi literally melted in my mouth before I could even taste it. It was so tender that I had to keep taking bite after bite. I couldn't believe Galbi could be this soft! We tried several different dishes, but the Galbi was hands down the best. I’ve been to quite a few pricey restaurants in Canada, but Jeju is the first place where I felt every single penny was absolutely worth it. While the food was incredible, it was the best ever service that truly won me over. I will definitely be coming back to Jeju!”

“LOVED our experience at Jeju. Our server, Noah, was great - polite, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The food was so tasty. Our favorite was the Soondubu, which had a rich, seafood/shrimpy flavor that had the perfect kick to it. The Wagyu tartare and Sung’s style rib were our next favorites. And the octopus was so tender with a buttery smooth taste to it. Highly recommend the kimchi cucumber. The bulgogi was good as well. I would come back just for the Soondubu. 😋”

“A well-known Korean restaurant used to be around Tifino and has now relocated to Vancouver. Their booking is incredible, booking out fast. You need to book monthly and every time it is booked faster than a concert ticket. However, their name is overwhelming by their name. We booked 7 pm for a table of six, some of us arrived early and enjoyed a drink at the bar. Then all of us arrived 10 minutes early but the restaurant had the table ready but they won't seat us. For a good restaurant they need to be flexible if they have a table ready, you don't need to wait till the time. The food is good but over pricy $175 for a couple of pieces of steak? Luckily they do serve rice, otherwise for over $400 dinner. You are still hungry after their portion. They are so small and against the Korean traditions when you are eating in Korea. Whoever is in Korea before will understand what I mean. The service is excellent but it won't cover the portion or the price of their food. They are gonna lose their business with no return customers.”

“Jeju opened late last year in Mount Pleasant, with its original location in Tofino. Think modern, chef-driven Korean cuisine—refined flavours, elevated plating, and a menu that feels thoughtfully curated rather than traditional. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the execution makes it worth trying at least once. Every dish is beautifully presented and packed with bold, balanced flavors. Just a heads-up: no complimentary banchan here—side dishes are ordered separately. Tried the spicy banchan, including Napa cabbage kimchi with a deep, fermented kick and dubu spicy braised tofu, dense with lingering heat. Starters were solid: Wagyu tartare with sourdough, gochujang, and crisp Korean pear—rich, savoury, and refreshing all at once. KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) glazed in gochujang, paired with garlic aioli and pickled radish—crispy, sticky, and dangerously addictive. Japchae with chewy sweet potato noodles, seasonal vegetables, and tender pork loin. Main didn’t disappoint: Bulgogi-style sliced rib eye elevated with truffle, aged kimchi, and crispy bugak. Overall: bold flavours, modern presentation, and a refined take on Korean comfort food. Not your everyday Korean spot—but definitely one to check out if you’re in the mood for something elevated.”
