“My wife and I went for the lunch tasting menu. Matilda and Tom have created a quiet, calm, unpretentious, yet perfect meal experience. Matilda’s front of house excellence made us welcome from the moment we arrived. Tom’s lead in the kitchen provided exquisite food. The staff were all great as well. Each taking turns explaining each dish as it arrived. It was a meal to remember”

“We have just had the most wonderful experience at the Killiecrankie House ! My husband took me here as a surprise birthday treat :0) I have wanted to come for a while and it did not disappoint. Thank you to Tom and Matilda and all the staff who were just great , a very friendly , professional Team who did a fabulous job in making you feel comfortable and made our stay very special ! The food was really unbelievable and at times when Tom was explaining the ingredients and how each course was made you would be sure that it was all a made up story , just extremely clever and extremely talented .. a well deserved Michelin star ⭐️ Everything was perfect from the stunning accommodation to the Food , wine , music brilliant team and to top it off this morning with a spectacular breakfast … the best 50th Birthday present ! …….We will return ♥️”

Tom and Mathilda have created an environment that is comfortable and relaxed and at the same time sets high standards of service, accommodation and, of course, food and drink. The menu was excellent: clever and interesting without being pretentious and extremely well balanced and thought out, with an emphasis on local and seasonal produce. The wine pairings were excellent and generous. The Michelin star is well deserved. Highly recommended.”

Before that we were treated to a superb whisky tasking - none of which I had tried before and after a great nights sleep and before we left we were provided with a delicious breakfast. We don’t need to say much more than we will be back - the menu changes often but enjoy the photos to get a sense of the very special dishes the team create.”
