“This was an excellent experience from beginning to end. We were a party of 5 that were sat at the odd table toward the rear of the restaurant but it worked perfectly for our group. 1. Service - Kyle was incredible. You can tell he has been honing his craft for many years by the level of attention to detail he had. He was quick with offering drink recommendations and even helped out a member of our party after letting her know a drink she ordered may not get finished and there was nothing wrong with being honest about it. He was friendly and welcomed us like we were family. 2. Atmosphere - The restaurant is amazing. The inside is warm and inviting and weve been told we have to come back to eat on the patio for the live music which we'll plan on. Bathroom was clean and overall we were impressed. 3. Food - Good lord the food was amazing. We had been told by Kyle that over 90 percent of ingredients were locally sourced and you could tell. My wife had a salad with shrimp and my loaded burger with goat cheese and a jelly was delicious. You could tell just how fresh everything was. The chipotle honey hummus was a big hit with the table as well. Only recommendation would be maybe more mozzarella on the bruschetta. My wife was celebrating her birthday and Kyle made sure to let us know she was able to get a free dessert. The chocolate cake was super rich but very very good. I can tell you the reason this restaurant has survived over 17 years is clear. The owner has been doing everything right and you cannot deny that its worth it.”
“Absolutely amazing experience at Local Roots! Everything we ordered was excellent—from the calzone to the lamb lollipops and the burgers. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The bread and butter service alone is incredible and sets the tone right away. Sophia was so sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and adding such a warm touch to the whole experience. Great food, great service, and a place we’ll definitely keep coming back to!”
“We tried the food at Local Roots for the first time. The experience was really good. Service is great. Food is very good. I want to mention the Pizza. It was little thicker than a thin-crust. But the crust was nice and crispy. It was crispy till we finish the Lunch. One of the best crust. Another Visit: We tried black beans burger and sweet potato spaghetti. Both were amazing.”
“The salmon with steamed beets and blanched kale was absolutely delicious and made my tummy happy! They also offer a variety of dressings for the salmon — I skipped the maple balsamic one since it would make the fish sweet, and I personally don’t like mixing maple sweetness with my protein. The veggie pizza with cauliflower crust was loaded with fresh vegetables and topped with plenty of fresh Parmesan cheese — I really enjoyed it too. The restaurant has lovely patio seating that’s perfect for the evening, and the ambience is great. Their farm-to-table concept truly justifies the slightly higher prices.”
“Went here a few months ago and forgot to leave a review. Service was pretty slow, but very friendly. The dishes were very good. I had never had beets with salmon but it was delicious and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I bought some elderberry syrup as well!”
