“I’ve been coming to Mythos Taverna for a few months now, and it has truly become my comfort place. There’s just something about the atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, and consistently enjoyable every single time I visit. The food is honestly incredible. I’m obsessed with their hummus, their calamari, the chicken is always juicy and well-seasoned, and the cheese… wow. The cheese they serve is absolutely out of this world. A HUGE shoutout to Chef Jorge, who clearly puts so much passion into every dish. You can really taste the quality and care in the food—it’s phenomenal. Service-wise, Raúl made the experience even better. He was incredibly attentive, charismatic, and efficient throughout the entire meal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows. Also, thank you to Tony at the bar—his drinks were delicious, and every recommendation he gave was spot on. Overall, Mythos Taverna is a place I’ll keep coming back to again and again. It never disappoints, whether it’s the food, the service, or the vibe. Definitely one of my favorite spots—I’ll be back a thousand times more.”

“If you want authentic Greek food and amazing service, come here. We were seated instantly despite them being full. The wait for food was only 15 minutes, and the chicken soup, octopus, ribs, and dolmades were all perfection. We loved the atmosphere and the staff. Our new favorite restaurant!”

“I’ve been here several times over the past 5 years and the most recent time I went, I noticed the portion size was considerably smaller for the octopus (still very tasty) and the vegetables included with the souvlaki were under seasoned. It can get quite stuffy if you’re sitting in the upper dining area, but overall still an okay dining experience. The service was excellent as always!”

“Excellent service from the staff. Friendly, greeted with lovely smile & very welcoming. Our server was a lovely young lady & did an excellent job. Restaurant looks nice, very spacey however four of us at a table of four had a very hard time. Table was super small, four of us were super uncomfortable. food, nothing special really. Sagan ski was NOT good, calamari was coked & pretty from outside, super soft & soggy inside. Sorry but it was yukkkk! Lamb souvlaki was good, chicken not too bad but honestly nothing to brag about. Rice was cold. Moussaka wasn’t bad but nothing that special for that price. Prices are outrageous to be honest. Even though service was lovely unfortunately we will not be back.”

“Edit after response: paid $170 (tip included) for 2; 3 course meal for two people, one drink each, no dessert& coffe/tea and made a reservation before hand for special occasion. The whole experience was not worth it overall imho! I would highly recommend to focus on providing hot food and NOT try to dictate the reviews and to blame the customers instead. And we were initially offered the table right accross the kitchen; we had to ask for a better one. I think some tables are "nicer" in your restaurant, specially for a party of 2, surprising you are not aware of that. And hence, your response and justification of events proves my point and review. For the price point, not worth it. ---------------------------------- We made a reservation for 2 for Sat night to celebrate my birthday and asked for a nice table. We were treated the same as the walk ins, offered a table right across the kitchen. We were told all the tables were nice in the restaurant. The food was half cold; the roasted potatoes at the roasted lamb plate, the meatballs and the spanokopita. Overall, we felt the food and the service was mediocre for the price we paid. I don't think we will be back...”
