The seafood was incredibly fresh, clean, and flavorful, while the chef’s craftsmanship was amazing to watch up close. The ambiance is elegant and pristine. 10/10 would definitely come back again!”

“A really special experience. Very few people per seating (there were just 4 of us total when we went) so it's very intimate and the atmosphere is so calm and beautiful. The food is spectacular, certainly the best sushi we've ever eaten by far (including in Japan!). Honestly every course was incredible but the standout for me was the 'trio' of tuna. Fun to try things I've never had before too, like the chawanmushi. Watching chef Nakamura prepare it is really interesting. A fantastic selection of drinks: especially the sake and plum wine selections which my husband enjoyed. As a non-drinker I liked the yuzu soda. The service was friendly and completely flawless. Honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough, if you're a fan of sushi this is an absolute must. Thanks for making my husband's 'big birthday' so special!”

The fish is beautifully served and every course delicious. Kaoru is an amazing chef and we are lucky to have him here in Leeds. I would say if you are looking for a fine dining restaurant in the city, there is none better.”
