“I recently had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Northern Virginia at Oak & Ember Tasting Room in Aldie. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and elevated without feeling pretentious. The entire experience showcased exactly what great hospitality should look like. A special thank you to Caroline, whose service was absolutely exceptional. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu and wine selections, Caroline made our evening feel personalized and memorable from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding. The truffle fries were off-the-charts good—perfectly crisp, generously seasoned, and completely addictive. The gnocchi was phenomenal, with incredible texture and flavor that rivaled some of the best Italian restaurants I’ve visited. The wine program was equally impressive. The Barolo was beautifully balanced and paired wonderfully with the meal, while the Bonpas Châteauneuf-du-Pape was a standout—rich, complex, and one of the most enjoyable glasses of wine I’ve had in a long time. Every detail, from the food and wine to the service and atmosphere, exceeded expectations. Oak & Ember has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants, and I can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Loudoun County, this place is an absolute must-visit.”

“We had a fantastic night. The dinning room is smaller and intimate (which is something we can appreciate) enough that I didn’t have to talk loudly in order to communicate over other guests or noise. The food & drinks were top notch. The cauliflower appetizer was unexpectedly wonderful. The pasta was fresh and excellent. Waitress gave us a heads up some of the heavier pasta portions were smaller plates, but I got the beef ravioli and thought the portion was perfect. Filling but it left room for dessert, which was also delicious. We will certainly be back! Spent plenty, because we were enjoying ourselves - but I didn’t feel anything was outrageously priced for the location.”

“The service & staff are so kind and you feel very welcomed. We did bring our 1 year old with us for dinner & they were able to accommodate with a high chair. We didn’t need any special food requests for him so unsure if they can make accommodates for little ones and to what extent. The food is stunning! Locally sourced & made from scratch- can’t get any fresher than this. Everything we tried exceeded expectations. The drinks were also incredible. Don’t skip on the cocktails! We can’t wait to go back and try their lunch menu. In all, highly recommend this place & snagging a reservation whenever possible- it’s definitely a unique spot in Aldie.”

“We stopped in for a late lunch. We had a roast beef au jus sandwich and a turkey sandwich. The fries were hot and delicious. The bread was fresh and easy to bite. Yummy sandwiches!! Excellent service and atmosphere. Nice wine selection too! We’ll be back with friends.”
