“Chillean seabass, Bok choy, brussel sprouts, fish tacos, ox tail pot stickers, steak octopus, all came to the table looking like a piece of art, also the drinks have so much character and creativity put into them. The bartenders does a great job to compliment the magic that happens in the kitchen. We had such a great time and everything was a hit!!”
“Nestled in the heart of downtown Raleigh, this spot is truly a hidden gem. During a work trip, I stumbled upon this place, and I can’t emphasize enough how incredible my experience was. From the attentive service to the exquisite flavors of every dish, everything was absolutely worth trying! ❤️❤️❤️”
“We went for restaurant week. The drinks were pretty pricey for a very small amount. The appetizer was creative and tasty. The lamb shank entrée was flavorful. The carrot cake was moist. It was made with walnuts which I did not enjoy. The churros were delicious. I'll have to come again and order from the regular menu but skip the over priced cocktails.”
“This was a nice place, nice ambience and friendly staff. The service was the greatest, we were running late to our first reservation for 5pm and they were able to accommodate and allow us to change to a later time that was available. That was much appreciated. The food was tasty as well. We ordered the meal that was $75 per person, it specifically stated best for 6 people, however there was not even 6 pieces of anything for these shared entrees, or appetizers should I say. It was Valentine’s Day I was going to order the surf and turf and the waitress advised me that they could add one of the entrees of our choosing, which I stated I would love a steak, therefore came to the decision not to get the surf turf. I also asked the waitress where the steak was once our meal was complete (each entree is brought out one by one) the waitress proceeded to tell me they were out of steak, yet I was charged the full price. Below is the pictures of the meal that we paid $75 per person for, that was meant to feed 6 people. I understand this is supposed to be fine dining, I just wish I would have walked away feeling like I got my money’s worth, but it feels more like a ripoff off. (This is all the food that was brought out) 3 crab cakes, a bowl of lobster ravioli , a pile of noodles with 3 scallops, 4 dumplings with a sprinkle of oxtail meat inside, pork belly, bowl of fried cauliflower and a hunk of lettuce with sauce and bacon, to feed 6 people? And it was one plate of each for 2 people. Not trying to knock the business, just want to inform others so they are not surprised, and left feeling how we felt.”
“I was expecting more from this restaurant. This was our first time visit and we were seated next to the windows that extremely cold and the area was very dark. I wanted to try several items on the menu and they came out one at a time and the items started to get cold due to the draft within minutes. I couldn't even stay for dessert. The waiter was nice and enthusiastic but I would of preferred better appearal for an upscale restaurant. I was excited to get the ribeye because of the tenderness but it was extremely tough. In all, it's a nice environment and the sides were good.”
