“Wow first of all the friendliest staff you'll find! But I guess most importantly the food it is truly divine. Manhattan is saturated with restaurants but this is one of the truly delicious ones. This was the best burger I've ever had just come and eat this burger it's so good! And our server was the best. The owner too he is so friendly! But the food I mean check out this picture it's even more delicious than it looks”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Polanco Social for my birthday brunch, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a unique and delicious blend of Mexican and Jewish flavors in a warm, vibrant atmosphere. As someone who eats gluten-free dairy-free and kosher , I was especially impressed by how great the menu was. There were plenty of choices, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The brunch selections were terrific . We started with the delicious guacamole, followed by the steak and eggs, which were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The drinks were excellent, and the dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about dietary needs, making the experience even more enjoyable. For anyone looking for a kosher Mexican restaurant on the Upper West Side with excellent gluten-free and dairy-free options, I highly recommend Polanco Social. It's a welcome addition to the kosher dining scene, and I'll definitely be back.”
“Wonderful Mexican kosher food! Every bite is full of flavor. Don’t skip the Machaca taquitos — they’re simple, phenomenal, and truly authentic. My main was the pollo asado, and the sauce they put on top made it incredibly tender and juicy.”
“I like the new changes! The hours on the website and when you call are completely off but I told them so hopefully they’ll fix that. They seem to be opening at 5pm most days? The latkes were really good! The sweet potato tacos didn’t look like much but actually were really really tasty. Each part had a good flavor The tres leches cake was delicious! I wish the menu more clearly marked what is GF since they’re no longer fully GF, but most of their stuff is GF. It would just be nice if it were more clearly marked on the menu, especially since some may not know you’re no longer fully GF”
“Food was good, came out pretty fast. Dessert was also delicious. I had to double check if the pricing was correct. Would I come back? No. Is it a good experience for your friends visiting from Israel? Yea, why not. Not bad. Albeit $14 for ONE small taco is crazy work, especially for any Mexican Restaurant. And charging $10 for two Saratoga bottles is hilarious - ask patrons if they'd rather Poland Spring. I get it, tap water isn't kosher, but honestly, just ask.”
