Porterhouse Steak and Seafood - Lakeville

“Walleye was exquisite. The fish itself was fresh and of high quality. The preparation (I chose oven) brought out its light, flaky texture and mild taste without drying it out. The baked potato was solid for taste, texture and presentation. Onion soup had rich flavor. It would benefit from a GF bread option in it; eating rich melted cheese in an onion broth was challenging. Service was exceptional. Tracy, my waiter, was personable and competent. There were sufficient servers for the number of tables. Their commitment to customer experience showed when I asked to return the crab cakes that I disliked. They apologized for my displeasure, took back the cakes, removed it from my bill, and gave me a complimentary cup of decaf. (I am not well familiar with crab cakes and choose not to evaluate that food in itself.) Atmosphere was pleasant and absorbed sound well. It left a pleasant hum of people enjoying each other’s company over delicious food.”

“It was our 1st time at the Porterhouse Steak in Lakeville. Definitely did not disappoint! From the start it was a wonderful experience. Front staff very welcoming and friendly. It was a busy evening at the restaurant this evening. Very warm and relaxing atmosphere. We got seated by the warm fireplace. Our server was Jeanine. Our server was immediately very welcoming and gave us good vibes for the meal. We started out with two of their specialty adult cocktails. They were excellent! We decided to have their filet mignon steaks, with a choice of potatoes or veggies. The salads came out first and they were large and fresh. The fresh loaf of bread with garlic butter was soft and flavorful. Once we got our steaks, which were cooked perfectly to medium, the steaks were so tasty and literally melted in your mouth. No need for any steak sauce here the flavor was the best. After finishing our meal we decided having a dessert. Because we celebrating our birthdays we were treated to complimentary desserts. A Win Win! Their dessert menu gives you many mouth-watering choices. We had the cheesecake with fudge and the dark chocolate flour less cake. Both desserts were very good selections. After our wonderful eating experience at the Lakeville Porterhouse we highly recommend you give them a try for a flavorful and great dining out experience!”

“5 stars is not enough. We had the most incredible experience and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. We were there celebrating both my birthday and my son’s, and from the moment we walked in, everything just felt special. Our server, Joseph, was absolutely phenomenal. Attentive without hovering, genuinely kind, and he went out of his way to make sure every single detail was perfect. He even offered to take our photo, which meant so much for a night like this. The food? Next-level amazing. We all ordered steaks, and every single one was cooked perfectly. I had the black and blue ribeye with lobster, and it was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The appetizers were just as impressive, especially the parmesan scallops… we were practically fighting over the last bite. What really stood out, though, was how thoughtful and welcoming the entire staff was. We had two kids with us, and they were so kind and patient with them, which made the night even more enjoyable. The manager came by twice to check in, which you don’t see anymore, and it showed how much they truly care about the experience. To top it all off, they surprised us with complimentary desserts for our birthdays, which was such a sweet and memorable touch. The restaurant itself was spotless, warm, and inviting. Everything about the evening felt elevated but still comfortable… the perfect balance for a family celebration. If you’re looking for a place that delivers incredible food and an exceptional experience, this is it. We’ll absolutely be back.”

“Best restaurant I've been too. You how that one food item you get, you're like, "holy crap, this is really good!"? Well that's how I feel about every item that I get on their menu. The environment feels at home and can feel romantic if thats what you're there for. I went on Valentine's Day with my Son. We just walked in. The wait was short because we sat at the bar and the environment felt great. Lights are dim just enough. We watch the Olympics on their TV. The service was great! The waiters and bar tenders were kind and cracked jokes. We had lots of fun! They seemed liked they really cared about your experience there.”
