“Amazing food and great service. The DJ was fire and the atmosphere was all round lovely. Manager Jazzy was attentive, proactive and friendly. The staff were friendly and really fast too. I really really enjoyed my night. Would highly recommend. Make reservations early though, we almost couldn't get in last Friday.”
“We had so much fun! Went on a Saturday around 7pm they started karaoke at 8pm and everyone was vibing and it was a really nice friendly atmosphere. I had the prawns which were nice and loaded chips- the chicken was slightly dry but still nice and side of plantain which were also tasty. Overall I’ve add nicer food elsewhere but it was fine and along with the karaoke it was really fun and worth going. Prices were reasonable too. At 11pm they had a DJ and people got up and were dancing and enjoying the night. We left shortly after DJ started as we mainly came for the karaoke.”
“It was a nice vibe. My group arrived early during the late brunch and we was the first to arrive but they entertained with karaoke and then once the DJ came it started to pick up. The djs choice of music was not great but the food was nice and the cocktails where okay. If you're Caribbean you won't like the song choices, however the waitress was fast and didn't have to wait for the food. Nevertheless it was a nice vibe.”
“This is actually a nice lounge. Great atmosphere. DJ was good. He understood the crowd, and the crowds really vibed well to the music. The energy was positive. He just needs to stop pausing the music and singing instead 🤦🏾♀️. The ambience is nice. Great interior. I didn't eat food here, so I can't comment on that. Ordering drinks was a pain, though. You order drinks at the bar, and they take forever to get it prepped or even forget in my case. There is no parking on site, but you can find free parking on aide roads. I'm not sure about timing or restrictions, though.”
“This place is not for me, but the food is great honesty is important. The service was very miserable apart from one person but I did not take her name. The guys at the bar had no personality and took payment before making my drink. It started with the security on entrance which was a little surprising. We were only going there for dinner, makes me think that this place has had some problems in the past or maybe not. Myself and my colleagues were patted down on entrance. It was my colleagues birthday and she chose this place randomly. My colleague was celebrating her birthday and decided to drive across london to be here so she was late due to traffic, the table she booked only allowed us three hours and after spending around £250.00 we were reminded that we had to vacate the table, which felt a little uncomfortable to be honest. They took payment every time we placed an order before the order arrived which was again a little uncomfortable. They had two cocktails for the price of one before 9pm, the birthday girl arrived shortly later and I explained to the bar that it was her birthday and she was stuck in traffic so could they extend the offer, the answer was a resounding no. The location itself again is strange and out of place, parking is off road. The venue is well decorated but very dark, so dark that you need your phones torch to read the menus . The tables were not flat so the drinks kept on sliding to the middle every time you put the drinks down, which was so so strange the waitress was not fussed when we pointed it out, the important thing is she was not rude. The food was reasonably priced and was well cooked and flavoured. The menu is Nigerian so we ordered Chicken Suya and fried plantains and fried yam, all were perfectly cooked and no complaints. We felt unloved in this place and as soon as we finished eating we all decided to leave. This place was not for us but I’m sure the people who like it will think I’m crazy, but first impressions are important and on this occasion it was not just my own opinion. Overall the staff were polite but disengaged and did their job without personality. We worked out that they make money from people who like to pop bottles and show off so I guess that’s why we had to give up the table.”
