“This was our first time dining at Blue Ridge Grill, and the entire experience exceeded expectations from beginning to end. Polash was our server, and he did a fantastic job taking care of our table throughout the evening. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure everything arrived exactly as ordered. The back waiter also stayed on top of things and always made sure our water glasses were full without us even having to ask. One unique touch was the wine, beer, and cocktail menu being displayed on a tablet, which made browsing the selections easy and enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautifully staged like a rustic log cabin, with matching decorations covering the walls, ceiling, and patio area, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a delectable variety of dishes to choose from. The Wagyu burger was absolutely off the charts. The ratatouille was perfectly seasoned, and the coconut basmati rice paired wonderfully with it. The pan-seared trout with sautéed green beans, tomatoes, lemon aioli, and beurre blanc was outstanding, especially with the perfectly crispy trout skin. Overall, it was a memorable evening, and we will definitely return again soon. The service, atmosphere, and incredible food combined together to create a truly unforgettable dining experience”
“I'm not a fine dining expert so I will just say that none of my party of 5 complained about their order. I had the Georgia Trout, and there are several fish dishes on the menu as well as an array of steak choices. I'll focus on service which was excellent, our server was very helpful and the salad and main courses were served by several waitstaff, so that everyone received their food at the same time. The presentation of the food is attractive and the house salad and bread was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really the selling point if you are going to spend a lot of money on a dinner. It's a very comfortable, rustic restaurant, the tables are not too close together, and a large fireplace was perfect for a cold January evening. It was my adult some birthday and our server brought out a large, delicious slice of chocolate cake made with nuts and ice cream, easily shared by all five guests. There is valet parking or self parking in the whole foods garage. A good choice for a special occasion.”
“I went here for my anniversary and it was definitely worth the trip. The waitress was nice, but I wish she had explained that the sides were separate. Since it was my first time, I wish I had known that before ordering. However, she made sure our water cups stayed full. The food was delicious. We were given a complimentary ice cream pie, and it was delicious as well. They have complimentary velet service. There is mouthwash in the bathroom, which is good to freshen your breath after eating. I would definitely go back, but next time, I'd go back without my kid because it's definitely not kid friendly.”
“I recently visited Blue Ridge Grill with a large group, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant is beautiful, elegant, and has a very stylish atmosphere. I really liked the décor and the overall vibe of the place. Since we were a big group, we were seated downstairs, which worked out perfectly for us. For appetizers, I tried the bacon-wrapped dates, and honestly, they were the highlight of the meal for me absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I also had the tuna tartare, which was fresh, but I felt it could have used a little more seasoning to really elevate the dish. For my entrée, I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium with mashed potatoes, and it was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and definitely one of the best parts of the dinner. The service was okay overall, but considering the level and style of the restaurant, I do think the attention and service could be elevated to better match the dining experience they are aiming to provide. Even with that, I would still recommend the place. The atmosphere, ambiance, and quality of the food make it a great spot for dinner, especially for groups or a nice night out.”
“I visited this restaurant on April 1 ( Apparently an April Fools Joke) from my mom and my vantage point. First and foremost let me say this place was SLAMMED as in what you would expect on a Friday or Saturday Night but we didn't have too long of a wait perhaps 20 minutes if that. The decor is fabulous and nothing short of exceptional. Unfortunately the SERVICE WAS SUBSTANDARD by a mile and we were celebrating my birthday but my server's lack of friendliness was exceeded by his lack of attention and fawning over the 6 top that was sat across from that. I had to ask for extra lemons not once not twice but 4 times and ended up getting the water attendant to assist because our server didn't want to bother assisting us!! I ordered the fillet mignon blackened and med well, my mom has the fillet medium. I did tell my server I like my steak REAL HOT TEMPERATUREWISE but unfortunately it was WARM NOT HOT!! The Real Kicker is he NEVER BOTHERED TO CHECK TO MAKE SURE OUR STEAKS WERE COOKED TO OUR LIKING or How Our Food Was....NOT ONCE DURING THE ENTIRE VISIT,!! I had the Apple Cobbler for dessert and it was perhaps the best I ever had!! This place has so much POTENTIAL and at one point I was so FRUSTRATED I GOT UP AND ASKED ANOTHT SERVER TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER BUT NO ONE EVER CAME TO SPEAK WITH US!! I've had BETTER SERVICE AT PLACES COSTING 1/3 THE PRICE OF THIS ALLEDGED " UPSCALE " ESTABLISHMENT!! The server we had is doing a DISSERVICE to your restaurant and this was our FIRST TIME HERE!! A First Impression Is A Lasting Impression and We Were NOT IMPRESSED!!! Does anyone CARE????”
