“I went to Chops in Buckhead for the first time this past Saturday, and I must say that I enjoyed myself tremendously. I had the Ahi Tuna as my entree, along with the lobster bisque, and beet salad - I topped it off with the NY style cheesecake for dessert. The lobster bisque was very rich and creamy. I got the tuna sushi-styled, with the mashed potatoes - I enjoyed the texture and the savory taste. I fell in love with the beet salad with the aged goat cheese and candy walnuts, and I'm not even a walnut person. Let's get into the service: the service was absolutely top-notch!!! We were served by Jermaine, who was an absolutely pleasure!! He was very professional and his team was very efficient. There was no lag time between meals and he and his team made sure that we had everything we needed. From the wait staff to the manager on duty - Fatima- everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely return to Chops in the near future!”
“My filet and crab cakes were exceptional! All the sides were perfectly seasoned as well. Valet was efficient and was in and out quick. Certainly worth coming back near future.”
“In February 2024, I reserved a table for dinner for my wife and I to Chops & Lobster Bar. Finding parking wasn't too bad, considering that the parking lot is in the same plaza as a hotel. Valet Parking is an option, but we're cheap so we didn't choose valet. As we walked into the aromatic steakhouse lobby, we were greeted by a host who immediately asked whether we had reservations. We let him know that we did, but instead of showing us to our table, he told me my Virgil Abloh Off-White crewneck did not meet their dress code and that we would not be seated. Please find the attached screenshot of the crewneck below and tell me if you think this is too inappropriate. As someone from California visiting with my wife to see her family in Newnan, this was a pretty disappointing experience. We had spent the day exploring Atlanta’s beautiful zoo and shopping downtown, and by that point we were starving. The last thing we wanted to do was drive 40 minutes back to my in-laws’ house just to change. So instead, WE DROVE TO A NEARBY MARSHALLS AND PICKED OUT A NICE SHIRT for me. After all of that, we returned to CHOPS, and this time they happily seated my wife and I. OUR ORDERS: As an appetizer we ordered the Oysters. For our main entree's I ordered the medium rare Rib-Eye Steak and a side of Lobster Mashed Potatoes that came with brown gravy. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon with a South African Lobster Tail which came with melted butter. I loved how the mashed potatoes came with a generous amount of lobster, if I come back I will most definitely re-order this. Overall, aside from being talked to like an animal by the host about the dress code, I had a good experience. Food = 10/10”
“Took hubby there for a pre Father’s Day dinner. Had not been in a long time so I was excited to experience it. I enjoyed my beet salad and the flounder special was excellent!! My hubby had the salmon which he said was overcooked but still delicious. We will be back.”
“Dined in last Friday, Chris was our server. He seemed a bit stressed throughout the evening, and while we initially talked we were told we can split checks, they couldn’t be split at the end of the night. However, he was patient with us when resolving the situation. A smile and a more welcoming attitude would have made the experience better. I highly recommend the steak, salmon, and desserts—they were the highlights of the meal. The side dishes lacked flavor, and the drinks could use some improvement. I don’t recall the manager’s name, but she was very polite, professional, and had a positive attitude, which was greatly appreciated.”
