“Fantastic location and great view of the water. Awesome bar and great atmosphere. Food was excellent. Our waiter was kind, funny, and had great recommendations. We shared a few cuts of steak. I love butter cake and it did not disappoint.”
“Had such a great dinner tonight in the Seaport celebrating our cousin’s 40th birthday! Once the host noticed the gift bag and realized it was a birthday celebration, she went out of her way to bring over a birthday card signed by the staff. It was such a thoughtful touch! The service all night was amazing! Everyone was super friendly, attentive and personable. Food was absolutely delicious from the tuna tartare, to the Caesar salad, charred octopus, lobster mac & cheese and truffle fries. Highly recommend the VIP martini or a good dirty with blue cheese olives! The GM, David, stopped by to check on us and make sure everything came out great, which was really appreciated. They brought over a slice of strawberry hibiscus cheesecake with a candle while we sang happy birthday to my cousin and then followed it up with the warm butter cake. And the harbor view at night was just perfect. Highly recommend for a celebration or even just a girl's night out!”
“We recently hosted three separate corporate dinners while in town for a large scale convention. The food, ambience, and most importantly their STAFF made for incredible dinners that were meant to engage our customer base in an intimate setting and did just that. A very special shout out to Randy and Evelyn. They were true stand outs with some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen, grounded even in the face of air conditioning malfunctioning and an unseasonably warm 80 degree weather day, an incredible amount of requests, and generally just the perfect balance of friendly professionalism. I would head back to Del Frisco’s next time I’m in Boston simply to see them again, that’s how great (and genuine) they were. Dave was fantastic and easy to plan with from the get-go!”
“Del Frisco’s holds a very special place with me, I have had a few special occasions with this location. But I also went here for lunch after getting married. My husband & I have been going here for over a decade now. The steak & cheese egg rolls are the best & they have the best crab cake! I don’t know if it’s the sauce itself or the crab ! LOL but you get the point. The service is always excellent never had a different experience with any of the staff! This location is absolutely amazing especially during the spring/summer time. As you can sit right by the water & watch the planes take off across the water from Logan airport! Definitely recommend! Also forgot to take a picture of the full steak til they had already served us! Also highly recommend the VIP! (New Amsterdam Tangerine Orange Vodka, Golden Pineapple)”
“We got married here five years ago during the pandemic, so we were excited to return and celebrate a few special milestones with the same exceptional experience we remembered from October 2020. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t quite live up to those memories. There were definitely some bright spots. The staff kindly accommodated a last-minute addition to our group when friends brought their toddler to dinner, and we appreciated being moved to a larger table. The complimentary celebratory cake at the end of the meal was also a thoughtful touch. That said, both the food and service felt underwhelming compared to our past experiences. The biggest issue, however, was the temperature inside the restaurant. Whether the AC was not working properly or simply not turned on yet, there was almost no airflow despite the doors being open. Combined with the humidity from the water, it became very uncomfortable during our three-hour dinner. We did ask about the air conditioning, and while someone appeared to check on it, nothing improved before we left. As for the food, everything was good, but nothing stood out as memorable. We ordered a custom seafood tower, crispy rice, and Caesar salad to start, followed by steaks, seafood entrees, and several sides for the table. One friend’s steak arrived potentially overcooked, which led to the unusual experience of a flashlight being brought out to inspect the doneness. While our server offered to have a new one made, we proceeded with our meal since the service times were so delayed. Our server, Sonny, was very kind throughout the evening, though he seemed stretched thin while other staff appeared less occupied. Since we had an early 4:30 PM reservation, the inconsistent pacing was surprising. Our appetizers arrived before our cocktails, and we were already being set up for dinner before Sonny had a chance to fully organize the table. The supporting waitstaff helping with sides was appreciated, and eventually all dishes made it to the correct guests. Overall, while there were some thoughtful moments, the experience did not match the level we expected for a $300+ per person dinner. We hope the restaurant works through the service and facility issues, because we would love to return one day and have the experience we once remembered so fondly.”
