“Out of all the steakhouses I’ve been to, this is definitely my new favorite! The interior is sleek and modern with dim lighting. The service overall was very good, the hosts were friendly and had us seated right away. Our water cups never ran out of water, because someone was always on top of filling it. Too many steakhouses are not on top of that, so that definitely gave Mooo…. some extra points. The food was incredible. The rolls were so warm and fluffy, the butter melted right onto it. I would recommend the wagyu dumplings as an appetizer: perfectly cooked with bold wagyu flavors. If you’re having a hard time choosing between sides, go with the Mooo…. side flight. It comes with truffle fries, creamed spinach, exotic mushrooms, and whipped potatoes. The mushrooms had such a unique flavor and chew. The whipped potatoes were extremely creamy and fresh. I am looking forward to trying the asparagus next time I go. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and was so tender. The real star of the meal was the tenderloin of beef wellington. Indescribably delicious. The pastry was cooked to perfection the mushroom and spinach duxelles gave a boost of savory and umami. I ordered it cooked medium, and the fact that it came out a perfect medium inside the pastry is just outstanding. The red wine sauce was a perfect pairing with it. For dessert we got the strawberry rhubarb tart, valrhona chocolate cake, and the milk and cookies. If I could only pick one next time it would be the milk and cookies. The mooo milk was very tasty and unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The cookies were warm and chewy. They have a large selection of after dinner drinks. I got the blue flower earl gray tea. They also give homemade marshmallow truffles which were light and unique. I cannot wait to return! 10/10”
“This was my first time at Mooo. We sat at the bar, which I highly recommend. The bartenders and the entire team are attentive to you the whole time. They gave us a menu personalized with my brother's name, as it was his birthday—a really nice touch. The food is incredible; the cut of meat arrived perfectly at the right temperature, and the sides were exquisite. I highly recommend the Wagyu burger, which is only available at the bar, just so you know. I hope to return soon.”
“This was our second time at Moo and we were once again blown away by the food and service. Steaks had the best sear and were cooked perfectly to the medium we had ordered. The sides were delicious too, and we were pleasantly surprised to find whole spinach leaves in the creamed spinach as it provides a nice texture. The service was also incredibly kind and thorough, truly top notch hospitality. For 2 steaks, 2 sides, 2 drinks, and a dessert we spent ~$200 per person after tip. Definitely worth it for a special occasion or someone ☺️ also just”
“You can always count on a great dining experience at any of Chef Jamie Mammano's restaurants. His commitment to the highest quality chow, attentive service, fine wines, and an elegant atmosphere has made him one of Boston's most respected restaurateurs. Our meal here was spectacular. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, and it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Standout starters included the Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Tuna Tartare, and the Dry-Aged Bolognese Lumache. For entrées, we shared several different cuts of steak, all expertly prepared and presented sliced for the table. The Beef Wellington is also fantastic here. The sides are uniformly excellent, but don't miss the Char-Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Honey and the Yukon Gold Potatoes. Desserts are equally impressive. Highly recommend both the Milk & Cookies and the Bananas Foster. I'd like to especially thank our waitress, who provided exceptional service and helped make the evening truly special. We were celebrating my son's graduation, and her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail enhanced what was already a memorable occasion. I also appreciated the excellent service from their new sommelier. Mooo continues to set the standard for the modern Boston steakhouse experience.”
“Bougie environment meets expensive cuts. Service is good and the vibe is spot-on. We had the beef wellington, the porterhouse, and the wagyu cap (all rare). I liked the cap the most, it had the beefiest flavor. I felt the porterhouse was a bit of a letdown, being a bit.. idk. crunchy. For sides and apps, the meatballs were good, as were the onion rings. We also got the broccolini (on the spicy side compared to other broccolini offerings around town) and asparagus with bearnaise. Honestly the most pristine asparagus stalks I've ever seen in my life. At the end, there are free s'mores inspired pralines. Overall good tasting and superb service. My partner thinks it's not worth the money though. Also a note, if you bring your own cake or something for a birthday or whatever, they'll charge you $7 a person to refrigerate it but they'll also serve a scoop of vanilla ice cream as part of this service.”
