“If you’re looking for a steak that will truly blow your mind and want to experience top-tier service, Grill Royal Hamburg is the right place. Because of the elegant atmosphere and ambiance, it’s best to dress a bit more formally for dinner. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special, the staff takes your coats, accompanies you to your table, and provides attentive, highly professional service throughout the evening. There is a standard menu concept, and the dishes are served in the center of the table to share. Everyone serves themselves as much as they like, which truly gives you the feeling of dining with your family, just as they promise. The meat and the accompanying side dishes were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we had chocolate mousse and crème brûlée, each one was incredible. Highly recommended”

“We visited Grill Royal in Berlin some weeks ago and found it excellent, so our expectations were very high when visiting Grill Royal in Hamburg. The interior in Hamburg is even better, with the restaurant in several levels and excellent seating arrangements. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and we had smiles from everyone as soon as we entered the restaurant. The bar is great and offer special cocktails in addition to the standard ones. The menu is excellent, of course with a steak bias. We tried oysters, beef tartar, US ribeye, and German NY Strip on the bone - all absolutely perfectly prepared and delicious. There are many sauce and side options and the wine menu is very good. There are several sommeliers on duty so you don’t have to wait for a long time to get the wine of your liking. Sure, it’s a bit pricey, but worth every cent. We will be back for sure.”

“Steak was good. Pepper sauce was a bit bland - there wasnt very much of it either. Hamachi was fine - a bit unbalanced but individual components were good. Tuna was much larger than the Hamachi but also tasty. Service was forgetful. The resturant also felt the need to interupt my day with a phone call to reconfirm the confirmed reservation.”
