“This place serves French cuisine with a Japanese touch making the food overall light and refreshing. I usually find traditional French food a bit too heavy so this was right up my alley. The opening amusebouche felt like a Japanese dish and was a wonderful start to the meal. I loved how the chef kept an eye on the tables to make sure everything was perfect, adding a personal touch to the experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Honestly, the level of food and service felt like a 3 star Michelin restaurant.”
“The bartender was wonderful. Did a la carte and the blanc mange appetizer was amazingly complex and good. Will remember that dish for a long time The guinea hen with morels was ok. Same with the rhubarb dessert. I wasn’t hungry enough to do the tasting menu but knew the petit tasting probably was more money than the food given. Pretty satisfied with my menu choice might come back for the full tasting.”
“L’Abeille is a very cute and elegant fine-dining restaurant. Honeybee decorations appear everywhere—from the staff uniforms to the napkin holders—creating a charming and cohesive theme. All of the dishes are served on beautifully designed ceramics that enhance the overall presentation. The tasting menus are thoughtfully prepared and very creative. Each dish arrives with delicate garnishes and impressive combinations of ingredients. I chose the petite tasting menu, but the portion sizes were too small to satisfy my appetite, even though I normally have a small stomach. I would recommend that anyone visiting order the 7-course set instead for a more satisfying experience”
“We opted for the Signature Menu, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. What makes l'abeille so special is how the chef incorporates delicate Japanese touches into classic French cuisine. Because of this, the tasting menu never feels overly heavy or rich; instead, it is incredibly balanced, nuanced, and comforting all the way to the dessert. The wine list is also spectacular, particularly their Burgundy selection. We paired our meal with a bottle of Dureuil-Janthial, Rully 1er Cru "Le Meix Cadot" 2022. The wine's elegant acidity and creamy texture beautifully bridged the seafood and meat courses, elevating the chef's complex sauces perfectly. Impeccable service, an intimate atmosphere, and food that leaves a lasting impression. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!”
“An incredible dining experience for our birthday! We visited l'abeille recently and every dish had its own personality. The stuffed squash blossom was full of flavor and impeccably plated. The tile fish with tomato sauce vierge was sublime. Loved how the scales were cooked crispy. The desserts were awesome too, the celery popsicle was playful and refreshing — such a fun way to begin the sweet part of the meal. The lemon dessert was creative, bright, and the perfect finish to the evening.”
