“We had a great brunch experience here! It was my first time. Cornbread was a 10/10 and a favorite for me, their BBQ sauce was very yummy (we took a bit home), my bestie swears by the chicken and waffles and my began friend always gets the burrito. I also enjoyed what I tasted from my friends steak and eggs. I enjoyed my mocktail. Can’t remember the name but it had ginger beer and candied ginger on it. Really good. Our server was great too. Will def be back when I’m in the area. Only complaint is that I asked for over medium and I got over easy :( Way too runny for my usual liking.”

“I wanted to take the time to leave a review for this restaurant because I had such a pleasant experience and the food was so good! From the beginning of booking our reservation when we called to speak to Josh to being greeted by the wonderful manager KJ and Bonnie it was wonderful! The oysters + the chicken and waffles were my favorite along with the crab dip! The crab Mac and cheese tasted very well also but I would prefer a different consistency. My cousin has the shrimp and grits and there is not much grits in the dish, if they added more grits it would be better but it still tasted good! The cocktails were so good ! They have unique and common choices, loved it. I really appreciate the customer service KJ and her team care to provide, she checked on us and made sure we were comfortable with our seating, quite lovely young lady!”

“Went in early Saturday, food was amazing and came out hot. The staff were super friendly. Our waitress Angela was super attentive and recommended some of her favorites, which were very good. Finding parking wasn’t too bad, but I could see how it would be harder at a busier time.”

“"An absolutely Grandma's kitchen type of feel" A very simplified and simplistic menue with a big bunch this restaurant offers you. Wifey and I had a taste for some breakfast food with an upscale attitude & elevation of creativity, taste and ambiance, Matt & Tony's here we come. This small setting of a restaurant has such a refreshing look and feel. Seating outside, bar or inside which ever you prefer, offers spacious room and comfortability. Drinks are phenomenal and they pack a punch 👊🏾 with a great line up of choices. Food is tasty and worth going. Dont expect this to be a 5 star dining, but the atmosphere here gets you to feel cool & chill. Yes, it can get busy later in the evenings, worth making reservations. During the day, late afternoon im sure you can pull up and be seated in no time. Take your family or friends, Im sure you'll not be disappointed. Soon to go back again ourselves. “Edit 06/11/26: Wonderful conversation with Matt today. It is very rare for owners to reach out like he did! Not only that but he was apologetic and assured me he was diving into the GF issue on all dishes. Additionally, the server/food timing missteps should be an easy coaching fix. I greatly appreciate his approach and have no problem upgrading my stars. Well, we're solidly disappointed after hearing so many positives about this place. Let's lead off with the kicker: the Acai Bowl IS NOT gluten free given my wife had that and is now in the middle of a gluten allergy attack. Will it kill her? No. Will she have days off headaches and feeling terrible? Yep. In a way, it's our own fault. The menu is clearly marked GF for this but our server asked about allergies and we told her. She said "I don't think the Acai Bowl is gluten free. Cross contamination." Huh? We should have paused to remember that GF granola exists but most people would not think to check. We should have asked specifically about the granola but didn't. Our fault and now she is dealing with it. Do not trust them on GF options. Drinks? Slow. Very very slow when the place was nearly empty before lunchtime. Food timing also didn't work as the steak and eggs came out almost ten minutes after everything else. That's just not acceptable. How many times did I need to ask our server where our drinks or missing food were? Too many. I'll say this. The crab dip was the star of the show by a mile. Everything else was good but nothing great. Poor experience overall that fell far short of the hype.”
