“We had dinner reservations here during MDW. The bartenders and staff were super helpful and friendly during the several hours we were there. All of the food was great including all of the recommended sides we had. I highly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer and the "Oscar-style" filet! The only complaint I have is we had a dinner reservation for 8:30pm but ended up waiting at the bar for over 20 minutes to be seating after our reservation time. But with it being MDW I realized that they were abnormally busy and short staffed.”

“Meat Market Steakhouse is a standout dining destination, perfectly situated among upscale shops with two nearby garages offering free and easy parking—huge bonus. The space itself is gorgeous: an open‑store layout with patio, garden, and indoor restaurant seating, plus a lively bar area. It’s trendy without trying too hard, making it an ideal spot to meet friends or coworkers after work. The menu delivers across the board. The sushi is excellent, the table bread is genuinely memorable, and the steaks were cooked perfectly. We ordered the filet and the NY strip topped with marrow butter—both were phenomenal. Side portions are generous and definitely shareable; the twice‑baked potato was especially impressive. Service is polished, the wine list is extensive, and the overall vibe leans business casual to dressy, which fits the atmosphere well. Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak times. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.”

“I hosted a small professional dinner at Meat Market while I was in town for work. This was an excellent spot, easy to find, beautiful location and while not MM specific, couldn’t have had better weather for indoor and outdoor dining. From the ladies at the bar during happy hour to our server team, it was an excellent experience. The food recommendations and selections were delicious and prepared beautifully. If you are looking for a girls night, date night, business dinner or anything in between, I highly recommend!”

“This place has become one of our favorites. The food is spectacular, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere feels modern, high-end and exclusive. Great date-night or celebratory destination when money is no object. The seafood tower is excellent. If you're on a budget be sure to ask for prices as you're building it out - our last one was a surprise at over $700. I'm super particular about sauces and always ask for each person to have their own - the servers don't ever get this request right the first time (pretty much anywhere...). If you've got a group of 4-6, pre-order the flaming tomahawk. The table presentation is fun and the steak is one of the best I've had. They do one of the best Seared Foie Gras Rossinis that I've ever had. All of the sides and desserts have been excellent, too. We reserved the private lounge once because it sounded like a fun, exclusive experience. It has a $1500 minimum spend, which you will hit with a group of six. However, the seating is low, crowded and uncomfortable and the room gets very loud, so we won't reserve it again. If you're a foodie, The Meat Market checks all the boxes!”

“The Meat Market in Hyde Park Tampa is outstanding from start to finish. The ambiance is truly high-end — the build-out was done with real class and creates an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere that feels perfect for both a night out and a special occasion. The menu is impressively diverse, with something for everyone, and everything we tried was high-quality and absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the ingredients and the execution. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Every person we interacted with was exceptional — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Tampa. Highly recommend.”
