“Great spot for any occasion! Celebrated my birthday there & was not disappointed! The drinks were amazing! Super classy and actually tasted DELICIOUS! The best! The food was delightful. Our waitress was so lovely, we gave us great recommendations & was an expert in presentation.”

“I recently went to Timpano with a large group of 10 people, and I was happy that they were quickly able to get us seated on a busy Thursday evening. The ambience and overall vibe of the restaurant is really nice. I ordered the parm-to-table pesto, which was such a fun experience. They bring out the cheese wheel to your table and mix the pesto pasta inside the cheese block right in front of you. The pesto was super flavorful and delicious, and the homemade pasta tasted fresh. The portion size was also great! 3 of us split it and we still had leftovers to take home. The only negative for me was that the pasta wasn’t as warm as I hoped it would be compared to some of the other dishes our table received. But overall, it was still very good and something I’d order again. I also had their spicy margarita, which was delicious as well. Overall, I’d definitely come back and try more of their meals!”

“Wife and I have been going to Tímpano for over a decade. A consistent appetizer that never fails is their mussels— so good. When trying a new restaurant we always compare to the best and no one has been able to come close. I understand the redesign a few years ago. Not a fan, but it was needed. However the live music is missed and now the atmosphere is like any other restaurant. Need to keep tables balanced and replace high top chairs. Nothing more annoying than a table shake. The booths are great but the high top tables are not it. Wait staff has always been great. Even during the busiest time of the season they seem to hire well and deliver excellence in service. “We enjoyed our evening at Timpano and had a good time together. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is lively, and overall we enjoyed our dinner. That said, we left feeling that the experience didn't quite justify the prices. My husband ordered the steak, and I had the sea bass. While the food was good, my sea bass portion was surprisingly small for a $54 entrée—significantly smaller than photos I've seen in other reviews. Since sides are served à la carte, the portion size felt even more disappointing. Another thing that stood out was how quickly the food arrived after ordering. While prompt service is appreciated, it made us wonder how much of the meal was prepared fresh to order. Our server was pleasant and did a fine job throughout the evening. Unfortunately, our first impression wasn't as positive, as the host seemed somewhat dismissive and unfriendly. Overall, Timpano is a beautiful restaurant with good food, but we felt the value simply wasn't there for the price point.”

“Upon walking in there was a man just casually vaping and blowing the smoke everywhere which I thought of as tasteless. Not sure why that was allowed. The whole party with me was burning up due to the air in the restaurant being very humid, stuffy and just simply burning hot. Through out our visit there seemed to be no type of air conditioning being used. I ordered an appetizer for my meal because I didn’t want much, I was the last person to receive their meal. The frozen strawberry Aperol spritz was simply just prosecco, there was no strawberry flavoring whatsoever. We also weren’t aware of a gratuity being added to our checks but there was. I don’t mind but that would’ve been nice to advertise since we weren’t fans of our meals. The flavor of the food was there but for my calamari it was EXTREMELY greasy, the meal consisted of crumbled pieces of fried breading that my calamari was placed over. There was also a HAIR in my lemon that was served ONTOP of my calamari. We were recommended this place by friends and were very disappointed. We had high hopes and were expecting something very different.”
