Puesto at the Headquarters

“Was visiting from out of town for a work conference and our hotel was right across the street from this restaurant so figured to try it for a night. This might have been the best meal I had while on the trip. We got tacos, a filet mignon bowl, cucumber salad, and the guacamole flight and all were AMAZING. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable with menu and gave some great recommendations. Outside seating was also very enjoyable by a fire. 10/10 would recommend 🌮”

“Royal was awesome and super helpful with the menu. Double checked with the chef about my wife's shellfish allergy. And the tacos! Fantastic. Get the filet mignon taco. One of the best bites of my life. Also, highly recommend the guac flight. Hopefully, we'll be back!”

“We ended up visiting Puesto in San Diego twice during our trip because our first experience was so good. First visit: Our first time at Puesto completely blew us away. The tacos were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best we’ve had. The guacamole and appetizers were fantastic, the drinks were great, and the whole atmosphere had a fun, energetic vibe. We left talking about how good everything was. Second visit: Because the first visit was so good, we spent the entire week telling people about it and ended up coming back with a group of 10 so everyone could experience it. Puesto delivered again. The table shared the guacamole trio, a variety of tacos including shrimp, carnitas, and steak, and we finished with dessert (the pistachio cake was excellent). Our server Adrien B. handled a large group like a pro. He was organized, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly for the whole table. Between the amazing tacos, great drinks, excellent service, and fun atmosphere, Puesto is definitely a place we’ll keep recommending to anyone visiting San Diego.”

“Pesto at Headquarters was fantastic. I had the surf and turf taco and it was honestly one of the best tacos I've ever had — incredible flavor. My wife got the chicken taco and a seafood taco, both great too. Food and service were both excellent across the board. The only downside was our table — we sat outside and it wobbled the whole meal, rocking back and forth no matter how we shifted our weight. Might be worth requesting a table inside if that's an option. Wouldn't hesitate to go back though — the food more than makes up for it.”

“Excellent! Came tonight for taco Tuesday- half off all tacos! Some of the best tacos I've ever had! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the filet was over cooked and a bit dry- would have loved it medium rare. Other than that- amazing! The lobster, carnitas, grilled shrimp, tamarindo, quesabirria all excellent! Great sauces too and free chips and salsa! Excellent service. If I come back to SD I'll definitely come back for taco Tuesday!”
