“Ernesto was great!! The food was solid. This has been on the list for years so when a last minute reservation opened up for Mother’s Day we were there 🤞🏽 I’ll definitely be back for the sides because the sides at steakhouses are pretty mid so this was a much appreciated elevation. Cheers to the culinary team and the entire staff because everyone was nice and welcoming and made the experience awesome.”
“Best steak in Denver. Went for my daughter’s 19th birthday and they made it so social for us. Best steak I have ever had and the service and wait staff are always so nice. We can’t wait to go back!! Tomahawk is absolutely worth the price.”
“Shanahans simply delivered! I had a lovely dinner on their outside patio on a recent warm day. We were seated right in front of the big roaring fireplace, and there were heaters as well. So cozy. From the food, the service and atmosphere, I was very pleased with my dining experience here. 10/10”
“What a phenomenal restaurant. This place nailed the modern but classy feel to a fine steakhouse. But to have the football history with it as well was a nice touch. I don't come from an NFL team state so it was cool to see some trophy's up close. I was amazed at the amount of staff they had to take care of you. The service was top notch and as good as I've seen it anywhere. Onto the food. We really enjoyed the salads we had as appetizers. We had the wedge salads. They were fantastic. For entree's we did more of a family style and tried a porterhouse steak and Chilean sea bass to share amongst three of us. For sides we got potatoes and brussel sprouts. The steak was perfectly cooked to our temperature of choice. Flavor was amazing. They brought out hot plates with butter in it. The sea bass was a thick pieces and had really good blend of flavors. It might been a touch overcooked, but it was still tasty. The sides were very good. We ended with dessert. Key Lime pie, creme brulee, and cheesecake. The creme brulee was one of the best I've ever had. The cheesecake was 2nd, the key Lime Pie I would pass on. I look forward to coming back when I am in town.”
“The restaurant itself was upscale modern and very very dark, lighting was pretty dim, and good atmosphere. There was complimentary valet. When we got in, it was quite busy so we had to wait a little to speak to hostess. We went here for birthday dinner, all of our first times. The one complaint is the wait, I made a reservation in advance for 7:30pm and we did not get sat until 8pm. We went for drinks at the bar and there was only 3 bartenders but only one woman was making drinks for the guests that were waiting for their tables so the line sort of took forever? So my husband was already irritable from the wait and the line… usually for these types of restaurants we make reservations to avoid the waiting for a table AND HONESTLY never really had to ever wait for a table when dining at a restaurant of this level, so that was annoying as it was our first. However… the food was soooo delicious. Appetizers we ordered for the table was jumbo shrimp, coconut shrimp, and charred octopus - all really good choices. BUT the lobster bisque was *chefs kiss.* The coconut shrimp was too sweet for me personally but my guests loved it. Main course: We got the prime porterhouse with truffle butter which was not only so good, but plenty of steak, I couldn’t even finish it, I could have shared it honestly! Delmonico steak with chimmichuri, someone else got the herb chicken. All dishes were so delicious. Sides we ordered; au gratin potatoes, creamed corn, sautéed mushrooms, Parmesan fries, and the steamed broccoli. The au gratin potatoes were the best out of all of them. Dessert: I got the salted caramel creme brûlée and I devoured it. Our server was fantastic, I wish I remembered his name! All table runners and wait staff was so nice, excellent service.”
