“I don’t normally leave reviews, but on my what feels like 400th visit to Sushi-san & on National Sushi Day no less, it felt wrong not to. The greatest compliment I can give this place is that after all of these visits, it is exactly the same as it was the first time I walked through the door: perfection. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the experience.. it never misses. In a world where consistency seems harder & harder to find, Sushi-San somehow delivers the same incredible quality every single time. This restaurant has become such a special part of my life that I even had my wedding dinner here. Over the years, it’s been the setting for celebrations, ordinary weeknights, & everything in between, & somehow every visit feels just as good as the last. If you’re looking for a restaurant you can count on to deliver an incredible experience every single time, this is it. Sushi-San never disappoints. Chicago has a lot of great restaurants. Sushi-San is my favorite. Always has been & always will. ILY!!”

“This place is great for happy hours! Keep coming back here a couple times a year and during the winter time we walked in and didn’t even need a reservation but we did have one just in case. We got their spicy and salmon rolls and the third eye vision cocktail which is like a lychee martini. We had to come and try their handrolls as well which was perfect. We got their combo 4 which was a great deal.”

“My wife and I came here after our wedding for our first meal as husband and wife, 10/10 experience. We had 3 rolls of sushi, 5 pieces each, and the chicken wings. Food was phenomenal, no complaints at all. Everything tasted fresh and had so much flavor. We were gifted a glass of champagne by a gentleman at the bar and the staff treated us to a dessert. Our waiter was Alec was great. The ambience is upscale and modern, very beautiful on the inside. I don’t have a single complaint about this place at all. I’d recommend to anyone.”
