The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
“The Pink Door was excellent! The wine selection is eclectic and different. Seasonal and regional items made for a well.rpunded menu. Kids and teens were well taken care of. We didn't have reservations and they were kind enough to get us seated in 5min. The Tuna Crudo startee and Ricotta Zeppole with Huckleberry sauce were highlights!! Perfect begining and perfect end.”
“Our group of 4 really enjoyed our dinner at the Pink Door! Despite living near Seattle for so long, this was my first time making it out. We got a day of reservation for a Friday evening, and the staff were very kind to accommodate bumping our reservation from 3 to 4 people last minute. The food was very good. We shared two apps and three pastas. The lasagna was incredible and definitely the favorite! Everything was truly delicious, glad we got a variety of pasta to share since some are lighter and some richer. The risotto was very good and quite rich. All in all, if you can get a reservation check out the pink door! Service was lovely and the view was amazing. Decor is on point as well.”
“WOW! We visited on a Friday night with a last minute reservation. Promptly seated in their lovely outdoor patio. We started with the tuna crudo - bright and delicious flavor combination. Our cocktails were middle of the road - strawberry patio cocktail and celery gin drink - you could get better elsewhere. The star of the show was the Ragu Bolognese, which was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in my life. My husband got the pasta and meatballs which were fine but nothing compared to the Ragu. We ended with the strawberry pavlova, which was phenomenal - light and flavorful but not too sweet. If we are ever back in Seattle we will be back for that Ragu!”
“My favorite spot during our stay in Seattle after the cruise. The only negative thing I can say - we did not dine here the second night and we should have. It is that good and we are “spoiled” restaurant goers. We’ve started with Prosciutto di Parma board. Fresh prosciutto, tasty fresh Pecorino cheese (yum). Then we’ve ordered their most popular pasta dish - Lasagna Pink Door. I do not like Lasagna, but this one was very good. We both loved it. We also ordered Branzino style fish of the day which was a rockfish for $37. Wow. Big fish (1.5 lb), perfectly grilled, fresh caught, tasty white fish, unbelievable quality and value. My favorite of the night. I also could not resist of Toscano fries, shoosh, it was amazing as well. And we finished with Zeppope (doughnut balls) and Semifreddo (ice scream). Excellent dinner, great atmosphere and very good prices. Definitely come here if you stay in Seattle before or after the cruise.”
“The decor was beautiful and the throwback vibe was welcoming. I thought the menu was limited and the prices were more than expected. They don't allow any changes the dishes!!! The rice balls were very good. My salmon dish was beautiful, but the flavor was bland. It was very crowded, but for me, the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.”
