“One of the best meals of our trip! The cocktails were very good as were the crab hush puppies. I got the maple pecan fried chicken which was TO DIE FOR!! Crispy and flavorful with the maple drizzle. The potato encrusted halibut, which my boyfriend got, was also delicious!! We were stuffed so we had no room for dessert but they had a lot of great options. Our server was phenomenal- he was very attentive and pleasant to talk to- super friendly. Bathrooms were clean and they have free parking which is a huge plus in this area!! Highly recommend d eating here!!!”

“The Pirates’ House is easily a 10/10. If you’re expecting a cheesy, "theme park" pirate vibe, this isn't it—the atmosphere is perfect because it’s actually authentic, with real history tied to the building that you can feel as soon as you walk in. The food was delicious across the board, but we especially loved the she-crab soup. It was definitely the highlight of the meal. Our server, Tom, was fantastic. He was very quick, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu. He made some great recommendations that really made the night. If you’re in the downtown Savanah area, I recommend adding it to your places to visit.”

“Went for lunch, and the food, service and atmosphere were perfect. I got a cocktail that was made from a good bartender, I know this because it tasted great. They start out by bringing you biscuits and corn bread with whip butter and orange marmalade. I ordered the fried green tomatoes on top of pimento cheese and chives on top. The best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. The waiter was very attentive and lunch came out quickly. The restaurant is in an historical building and fun to dine in. They also have a gift shop. Parking lot beside restaurant or parking on the curb”

“Food was tasty! The chicken that they are famous for was very tasty, good, and a large portion! My friends absolutely loved it! However, for me; it was a bit too sweet, but that’s exactly what you want it to be for what it’s advertised as. Their sweet potatoes were very cinnamon and sweet, but it was very fitting with the chicken. Their salads though were wonderful! Even the side salad offered a good portion size and was super tasty! Mt favorite part here, however was the crab dip!! There’s nothing special about it, but it was definitely good. I personally did not like the marmalade, but it’s a unique offering with the bread. It’s also worth noting this was some of the fastest service we have received in Savannah, food came out super timely. Definitely a place that is worth appreciating between the history and unique menu. Something for everyone!”

“Still as enjoyable as it was in the 1970s. Love the crab hush puppies and the history of this restaurant. They serve delicious warm cornbread muffins and biscuits with honey butter and orange marmalade Friday after you sit down at the table. The fried catfish was crispy and flaky. A fun place to go. Did not disappoint. Service was warm and friendly.”
