The Olde Pink House Restaurant

“The Olde Pink House lived up to its reputation and demand of needing a reservation months in advance. Our night started in Planters Tavern, which is the first come first serve bar below the dining room of the Olde Pink House. The atmosphere and bartenders were phenomenal. Dimly lit, and extremely nostalgic of Colonial or Victorian America. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and created fantastic drinks. My wife had a French Martini and I had the Planter's Punch. I also had a blackberry bourbon cocktail that I can not remember the name, but both were delicious. When our table was ready the hostess came down to take us to our seats. Every member of staff from the front of the house hostesses, to the management, and servers were intentional, engaging, and made you feel at home as if they were welcoming you into their home. Omar, our waiter, is an awesome.young man. He engaged with us and laughed with us all night. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helped make our night memorable. Our food was cooked expertly and with care. My wife had the Fried Chicken with Mac and Cheese, and an additional side of mashed potatoes. All were fantastic, the chicken was fried to perfection and juicy, the macaroni cheese was the very classic baked Mac n' cheese, everything you would want from traditional southern comfort food, and her mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection and full of flavor. I had the Crispy Scored Flounder with grits and collard greens. The Flounder was a whole fish pan fried perfectly so that it just flaked right off the bone retaining it's proper moisture. It was topped with a apricot shallot sauce that just had the right amount of sweetness to accompany the seasoning of the fish. The grits were cooked perfectly, the texture couldn't have been done better, and the collards has just the right amount of vinegar flavor in the traditional slow cooking technique. The portions were plenty, we could have shared both with a friend and both been satisfied. More than we could finish. With places like this I always worry my expectations would be too high, but with the Olde Pink House that is impossible. Surpassed all expectations and hope to visit again.”

“Best dining experience my wife and I have had in Savannah! Elegant 18th century interior and wonderful staff. Our server, Curt, was fabulous - polite, attentive, and personal without being overbearing. Always got a “my pleasure” in response to our thanks, but it really was our pleasure to dine there. Can’t praise him enough! The manager, Sean, also checked in with us twice and was very kind. The Old Fashioned was excellent. Their Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof is specially ordered and aged additionally on-site, and it went beautifully with the fig & vanilla shrub. Super smooth drink. Compliments to the biscuit-baker (supposedly has been making them here for 14 years) for the best biscuits I’ve ever tasted. Just flour, butter, buttermilk, and sugar, but put together in such a way to create a flaky, tender, buttery piece of heaven. Tried a few of the different sides - the Corn Bread Fried Oysters and the Fried Green Tomatoes were both enjoyable. Both had a nice crispy coating. Had a bite of the Macaroni & Cheese, and it was good as well. The Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie was tasty. The puff pastry crust on top was flaky and tender. The filling was good - it wasn’t super thick, and the sauce had good flavor. Lots of dark meat chicken that was nicely cooked (as opposed to other pot pies I’ve had where it is dry white meat) and a good assortment of vegetables (seemed to be peas, carrots, corn, and potatoes). The pastry chef, Kevin, put out some fantastic desserts. With over 20 years at the establishment, he seems to be a key component to the identity of the restaurant. The Pecan Pie was fantastic. Warm, gooey, and filled with little pockets of dark chocolate. The Peanut Butter & Praline Mousse Bombe was decadent, with a rich peanut butter flavor and a beautiful chocolate ganache. Would definitely recommend checking this place out, and I will certainly come back the next time I’m visiting Savannah!”

“The Olde Pink House is Southern hospitality at its finest. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire dining experience feel special. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, the chicken with collard greens and sweet potato, and the salmon. Every dish was incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious. Our favorite, though, was the warm biscuits—they were so amazing that I would honestly fly all the way from Los Angeles just to eat them again! After our meal, we were able to explore the historic home. Each room is beautifully decorated with period furnishings and unique details, making it feel like you're stepping back in time. Downstairs, you'll also find a charming tavern where you can relax and enjoy a drink. This is truly a must-visit restaurant in Savannah. Be sure to make your reservation well in advance, as it's one of the city's most popular dining destinations.”

“Top-tier service, incredible food, and an unforgettable atmosphere! Our family of four had an amazing dinner at The Olde Pink House. The staff was so kind and accommodating to our two young children, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The pink lemonade was refreshing and delicious, and the fried green tomatoes were absolutely outstanding. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, and the bacon whipped potatoes were rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The biscuits were warm, buttery, and impossible to stop eating! The only item that didn’t quite stand out was the mac and cheese, but honestly, everything else was so exceptional that it didn’t take away from the experience at all. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Savannah, and we’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!”

“First and foremost, the service was amazing. The host, waitress, and manager were all welcoming and kind. They were able to squeeze our party of 3 in at an adorable outdoor table despite not having a reservation. The food was amazing and the portions were perfect. We left feeling satisfied, but not bloated. We were encouraged to take a self guided tour around the house, which was absolutely worth doing. Overall, we had a great time at lunch and we would highly recommend this Restaurant for anyone passing through Savannah!”
