Revolutionizing Virginia Wine
“WHAT A GEM! We actually stayed at the cottage here on property and it was so lovely and peaceful. This winery is nothing short of amazing. Such a beautiful venue with so much seating outside. All of the wine we tried was very good & their sandwiches were also super good. I love when a winery has actual food options! The distillery is also a nice touch especially for someone who may not prefer having a glass of wine. We only live a little over an hour away and we will most definitely be back!”
“Our absolute favorite winery! Beautiful property, delicious wines (and spirits...check out Dida's Distillery on campus!) and phenomenal customer service. Rappahannock Cellars is such a gem and is the perfect venue for day dates, family outings, girls' trips and more. They go out of their way to make you feel like family, whether you're a first-time guest or a regular/wine club member. I truly look forward to each and every visit.”
“Folks, this is as good as it gets!! Gorgeous facility, excellent wines regardless of white, red, sparkling or port, cheese platters and delicious balsamic varieties and warm baguette and the staff is super! Such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with friends enjoying the many offerings these folks have to offer for your taste buds! You will be so pleased that you came!!”
“On the first note, its very beautiful place to hangout with friends and family. The wines over here were very nice and the owner is very friendly. They explain each and every wines they have , also they give samples for taste. Price starts from 25$. They don't have any non alcoholic wines. Only some juices are available for kids. Live music will be organized during weekends. Coming to snacks they don't have much options, some cheese related stuffs. Crab pancakes will be available. Packed potato chips are available to grab.”
“The property is lovely and the wines are good, too. There's just a few complaints. They welcome dogs outside but you have to go inside to get service on the porch. That's difficult if you are alone with a pet. I did notice that people with small dogs are welcome in the tasting room. Once I got service, it was friendly and quick. I ordered a wine and olive oil tasting. Other issues arose. The wines were in tiny test tubes and barely contained enough wine to properly taste. The olive oils were unusual and tasty. But for the cost, the baguette should have been much larger. I did like one of the wines enough to purchase a bottle but I again had to sneak in to get service.”
