“From the moment you arrive, this winery feels less like a destination and more like a carefully curated experience in refinement. The setting is breathtaking—rolling vines stretching endlessly across the landscape, kissed by soft light and framed by architecture that balances rustic charm with modern elegance. The tasting itself is nothing short of exceptional. Each pour is presented with intention, accompanied by thoughtful insight that elevates the wine beyond flavor into story. The craftsmanship is evident in every glass—complex, balanced, and expressive wines that reveal new layers with each sip. Whether it’s a bold red with velvety depth or a crisp white that dances with bright acidity, the portfolio reflects both mastery and passion. A special mention must be made to Guy, who sets the tone for the entire experience. From the moment you’re greeted, his professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm make you feel immediately welcomed. He carries himself with an effortless polish while still being personable and attentive, ensuring every guest feels like a priority. It’s rare to encounter someone who elevates hospitality so naturally—Guy truly embodies the spirit of the winery. What ultimately sets this winery apart is its seamless blend of sophistication and sincerity. The staff exude expertise without pretense, the environment invites you to slow down, and every detail is thoughtfully executed. This is not simply a place to enjoy wine—it is an experience to be savored and remembered long after you leave.”
“Our group had a fabulous time at Round Pond. It is not a big and flash winery compared to the many in the valley. It is definitely a quaint, smaller shop and focuses more on the production, rather than the winery experience. We had a lovely table set up in the back yard for the group and was able to do some "olive oil" tasting. Round Pond apparently is one of the two olive oil producer in Napa Valley. Super unique experience. The small tapas provided also were yummy. Truly, with a wonderful weather with crisp skies, it couldn't have been a better atmosphere. Private, yet open. The biggest call out, at least for me, was the taste of the wine. Both the cabernet and the red blend was a bit too punchy for my taste. It is a quite medium-bodied cabernet, which I don't mind, but it comes across a bit raw (and this was a 2022 so had 4 years to age). The red blend was also a bit more punchier. Again, this could just be a style thing. All in all, a wonderful outing. Strolling into the vineyards, lovely table and tasting experience.”
“Round Pond in Napa delivered an unforgettable experience, pairing exceptional food with breathtaking views that made every moment feel special for my sister and I. From the first bite to the final sip, the culinary experience was crafted with care and creativity, perfectly complemented by the stunning landscape surrounding the property. The customer service was equally impressive, warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit memorable. We cannot wait to share this gem with all our family and friends, and we are already looking forward to returning next year.”
“Cannot say enough about our marvelous experience here. We chose to do a private tasting with 4 course meal pairing. We were greeted by Guy when we arrived who was so fun and thoughtful. He even called ahead to tge restaurant we were gojng to later that day to let them know it was our anniversary so they'd do something special for us. Our tour of their wine-making facilities was led by Cruize, whose knowledge of the wines and the region was abundantly clear. The food.....oh my goodness the food, was to DIE for. The best meal and presentation, by far on this Napa trip and believe me, there was some really great food! Chef Fernando and pastry Chef, Kathryn, hit it out of the park!”
“This is a lovely little spot - the vineyards, the olive trees, the various plantings, and the outdoor space for the tastings. However, I would not recommend the olive oil or the tasting experience itself. The oil is nice - I was expecting to want to buy some but it just wasn't special enough. In the experience, we tasted some nice oils, but it was quite minimal and it felt very sales-y. Overall, it was fine, but I would recommend seeking a tasting elsewhere.”
