“Fantastic amish built barn/building!!a lot of thought, work and I'm sure expense went into this building!! Our waitress, Lex, was excellent...beers good...food really good and a massive portion with my pulled pork bar-b-que platter(probably would've been enough for our party of 4)!!! Everyone enjoyed!! Spotless bathrooms...and an elevator to get to the upstairs level!! Saw corn hole boards in the corner...an outdoor seating area for food and an outdoor area with adirondeck(?) chairs!!”
“South County Brewery hosted our Welcome Celebration for 52 people last Friday evening on the patio. The staff was easy to deal with and helped to make our event absolutely perfect. Prior coordination with management was well communicated to the staff. Upon arrival, everything was set up as previously discussed. If we needed anything, the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. We discovered we had an egg allergy in the group so it was noted on each food item that included eggs. From beginning to end, everything was fabulous. The girls worked tirelessly throughout the night making sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend South County to anyone who is planning a special event for friends and family.”
“We came here on a Wednesday night in February because we saw they had live music and I had been wanting to come taste the beer. We sat a the bar and were immediately greeted bu a bartender. They don’t have flights but they offer smaller pours. We tried a couple different brews and they all were good. I preferred the Stellar Phase. There are a lot of good choices on the food menu but it was wing night and we weren’t super hungry so we shared wings and got side salads. I am a house dressing kid of person and was happy to find out that they make their dressing and sauces in house. We had Carolina bbq sauce on the wings and it was very good. The musicians sounded great and they had a pretty decent crowd for a Wednesday in February during a stretch of super cold weather. The bar staff were all friendly and attentive. Prices were comparable with most other breweries. There is a grand arch at the entrance to the property and a long drive way - reminded me a bit of Tree House Brewing in MA. The building is huge. It was dark and snowy so I couldn’t see what their outdoor space looks like. We had a great time and will likely be back at some point in the future.”
“A beautiful brewpub reminisce of a ski chalet. We visited on a Friday evening. Downstairs, outside, and the loft areas were all busy. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Victoria, was awesome. She was so attentive and personable. We enjoyed several different beers and they were all great. It was nice to find a place that still provides a great beer at an affordable price. We also shared a pizza which was excellent as well. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out. As a bonus, they’re a Harvest Hosts location.”
“My charcuterie appetizer had a nicely arranged and delicious assortment of meats, cheeses, and other staples. However, my entrée arrived very shortly after and was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the spicy bianco pizza, which I believe would have been more enjoyable if it had been cooked a little longer. On a positive note, our server was friendly, energetic, and the ambiance was on point. Despite the hiccup with the pizza, my experience was memorable and I overall think this is a wonderful place to visit with friends and family.”
