“We recently hosted a private dinner at Southern Cross Kitchen and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Marquise was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, responsive to questions, flexible as our guest count evolved, and thoughtful about helping us stay within budget. The event space was beautiful and worked perfectly for our group. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the evening. Several of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed both the food and the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend Southern Cross Kitchen for private events and group dinners, and we look forward to returning in the future.”

“Southern Cross is my absolute favorite place to go for Sunday brunch. They offer an awesome mix of sweet (try the beignets!) and savory foods. Their buttermilk biscuits and breakfast potatoes are must-try’s. I have dietary restrictions and they are always happily able to accommodate me. I love sitting at the bar and being taken care of by Bryn and Sam; they are the absolute best in town!”

“I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower here this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. From the initial planning process to the event itself , everything was seamless. The staff were wonderful to work with, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“The service was nice, we were seated outside to enjoy the weather. We were quickly waited on and the menu had a great selection. I had the front green tomato BLT but the breading was almost nonexistent and the bread needed to be toasted a bit more and the chicken for the chicken and waffles was a bit bland but overall it was a decent experience. Perhaps I’m a little bias as I am from GA.”

“The service, atmosphere, and food presentation were all fantastic! The food itself however left a bit to be desired. They had a great expansive menu, but everything just missed the mark. The beignets were so cute but doughy inside, the cornbread was incredibly dry and flavorless, and my breakfast came out super unseasoned. That being said, I could definitely see myself going back for the atmosphere, great staff, and that they take brunch reservations. Would also note that service was on the slower side, but it was brunch so we were happy to sit and take our time!”
