From Chef-Owner Ford Fry, St. Cecilia offers opportunities like fresh crudo and cured meats, seasonal entrees and Italian-inspired desserts.
“Very capable kitchen crew, serving up some really flavorful dishes. I had the scallops and you know that green leafy bs they put on your plate? Well it was the best salad I've ever had, I'm not joking, I finished it all. Amazing, thoughtful dishes, service and touches... like the post card you can send after the meal. Great place!”
“If you’re looking for a dining experience that feels like a chic escape to the Amalfi Coast or the French Riviera, St. Cecilia is the gold standard in Atlanta. Located in the Pinnacle Building in Buckhead, this Ford Fry masterpiece combines high-ceilinged, industrial elegance with a menu that celebrates the best of the sea. The Menu: A Masterclass in Handmade Pasta & Seafood The kitchen at St. Cecilia treats seafood and pasta with a level of reverence that is hard to find elsewhere. • The Agnolotti: This is arguably the most famous pasta dish in the city. These delicate, pillow-like pockets of dough (often filled with braised beef short rib or seasonal ingredients) are glazed in a rich, velvety brown butter sauce that is absolute perfection. • The Crudo Bar: Start your meal here. The Maine Lobster or Yellowtail Crudo are incredibly fresh, accented with bright citrus and high-quality olive oils that let the seafood shine. • Wood-Grilled Octopus: Tender, smoky, and paired with perfectly charred potatoes and a zesty romesco—it’s a mandatory appetizer for the table. Atmosphere & Service The dining room is a showstopper. With massive windows, marble accents, and an open kitchen, it’s the perfect spot for a high-powered business lunch or a romantic celebratory dinner. The service is polished and "white-tablecloth" professional without feeling stuffy or pretentious. The sommelier is particularly helpful, guiding you through a curated Mediterranean wine list that pairs beautifully with the lighter, coastal fare. The Verdict St. Cecilia manages to be both grand and intimate. It’s one of those rare restaurants where the food actually manages to upstage the stunning decor. For anyone seeking refined, coastal European flavors in a world-class setting, this is a must-visit.”
“I mainly wanted to write this review to recognize our server Donald. His service was exceptional and made our second visit experience so much better. We were celebrating our anniversary and he truly made it more memorable. His recommendations were really spot on and we thoroughly enjoyed every item that was ordered. I wish there were more servers like him in the restaurant business! Thank you Donald! In general, the food and the atmosphere is great here so I highly recommend a visit!”
“A delightful experience all around! We made a reservation to St. Cecile for Valentines Day, got to the restaurant on time, and were immediately shown to our table - with a rose handed to my wife by the hostess. At first, we asked to be relocated to a different table, which usually can be an issue with reservations on a busy evening. They were more than happy to accommodate! From here on the evening got even more pleasant. The menu was a fixed 4-course meal for the occasion, with every meal paired nicely with a beautiful selection of wines. The food selection was great, starting out with the nicely arranged palette cleanser oyster with sprinkles of tobiko gremolata and a shot of beet bubble mary, paired with a sparkling rose. Next, my wife ordered the caviar, served with warm blinds and creme fraiche, while I had the crfranchises, accompanoed by chicories and herb citronete, both of which we ended up sharing, paired with a fantastic white wine. We Followed this with a main course of scallops for her and braided beef cheek for me. Dessert was just the icing on the cake - no pun. I feel the braised beef cheeks were slightly overcooked, given they were done in thin medallions. Throughout this experience, which lasted almost 3 hours, we were gracefully served by Robert Mack, who went the extra mile for us and made sure we were absolutely taken care of. We integrated him into our entire dinner experience which made time go by without even noticing how long we were there. Robert is the most charismatic, down to earth person you will want taking care of you. We never felt rushed - clearly. Between conversations and laughter we had the most wonderful evening, which trumped any issues with the food.”
“Came here for my birthday , and honestly, the only reason they’re getting two stars is because they handed me a menu with “Happy Birthday” printed on it. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, the lobster risotto, and the seashell dish. All were just okay — nothing memorable or worth coming back for. Our waiter was polite enough to take orders, but there was no warmth or friendliness at all. We skipped dessert since nothing looked appealing, and even though it was my birthday, they didn’t bother with a small gesture like a scoop of ice cream or a candle. This was actually our second visit — the first was about five years ago, and we didn’t enjoy the food then either. We decided to give it another try, hoping things had improved. Sadly, nothing changed. The ambience is beautiful, I’ll give them that. But the valet service? A complete joke. He just stood by the driver’s door waiting for a guaranteed tip — no door opening, no courtesy, no effort. There won’t be a third visit from us.”
