“My girlfriend and I went in here last night for the first time and we loved every detail of it. Our server Ally was very knowledgeable on the history of the building. When it was time to order, our questions were answered and she knew the amount of protein that went into the tacos. The chips and salsa was to die for, the atmosphere was busy but quiet, and the building itself beautiful surrounded with stain glass, murals and even the booth was a pew from the Methodist Church. The tacos were delicious and one of a kind. We were checked on throughout our visit and the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. We will be back in the near future”

“I've been to Tace Guild a few times. The first time was several years ago and it was good. A couple years ago, it was bland and disappointing. Last week, it was the best it's ever been. The tacos were distinctive in flavors and textures. They were all delicious. My family raved about the elote and horchata. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress didn't have to be asked for drink refills and she appeared periodically to check on us without being overly persistent. She worked hard to make the experience extremely pleasant. The place is unique and I'm happy the food is deserving of such a beautiful place.”

“Incredible. Wow. My family and I were absolutely blown away with Taco Guild. After a very long 38+ hours of travel with multiple flights and layovers from Australia, we woke up late afternoon and started looking for a dinner spot in Phoenix. We are lucky enough that we stumbled upon Taco guild in our searches wanting something easy but full of flavour. We arrived Saturday night around 7:50pm without a reservation and the team at the front had us on a wait list and had us seated in no time. This was where we got to see the insides of this old converted church for the first time and I have to say I was blown away. They have kept so much charm and the design and the atmosphere and layout looks amazing. There was some live music playing when we got seated and greeted by our waitress Missy, who is 100% the most amazing human who connected with us, helped us tired, lost Aussies navigate ordering and getting what turned out to be the tastiest, flavour filled dinner I could imagine. My wife has a few food intolerances and the menu already offers options such as lettuce wraps, your choice or corn or flour tortillas and Missy helped us order so sauces, toppings had been put to the side so my wife could add them as she saw fit to really enjoy her meal, to helping our sons and I choose some incredible options that made this a night to truly remember. The converted church, dark towering bar, great lighting, fantastic staff who just could not do enough to help and finally the most incredible food truly helped to turn a rocky start to an international holiday into one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. I spoke with the owner and told him how good our night had been and how amazing the staff had been. I’ve travelled a fair bit but never had such an amazing experience. We have become huge fans and have already been back for lunch and I think have made some lasting memories and new friends.”

“Taco Guild is one of the most unique taco spots I’ve ever visited — set inside a beautifully restored old church with stained glass windows, vaulted wood ceilings, and chandeliers that give it an incredible atmosphere. The mix of modern lighting and historic architecture makes it feel special the moment you walk in. I ordered three tacos — the Chipotle Cherry Steak, Baja Fish, and California Taco — and the California Taco was my favorite. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Baja Fish had a great crunch, and the steak taco brought a nice smoky heat. When you order the taco trio, you also get a free side of rice or beans. Service was friendly, and the whole place has a relaxed but lively vibe. Whether you’re a local or visiting Phoenix, Taco Guild is absolutely worth a stop — come for the tacos, stay for the atmosphere.”

“Not only are the tacos expensive but they weren’t very good either. The Mexican street corn was by far the worst elote I’ve ever had. I will say that the chips/salsa and margaritas were good. Service was great and atmosphere was welcoming. They did have a DJ there during my visit so it was a little noisy but not terrible. Parking on the other hand is atrocious! I’d also recommend making a reservation.”
