“I love this place for it's inclusive atmosphere, great music and a great dance floor. Super fun vibes; leave your attitude at the door! The people watching is phenomenal, the bartenders and waitresses are kind and quick. The food is typical bar food, nothing overly exciting, but tons of options on the menu all for reasonable prices.”

“We celebrated my daughter's 21 birthday at the Maverick. Karen, the events manager & her staff did a wonderful job to help make her birthday fun & special! All details were taken care of making planing SO easy. The Lacey Rashae Band was FANTASTIC & very entertaining. We were in the back section by the pool tables. We had 65+ people in our group so Karen brought in a bartender to make sure the guests were taken care of. Jill, the bartender was so sweet & did an amazing job. We had a lot of compliments from the guests on the band, service & food! HIGHLY recommend hosting an event at the Maverick. HUGE thank you to Karen & Crew, your hard work was much appreciated!”

“I spent over $200 here, yet when I asked for a cup of water, one bartender completely denied me, claiming "they don't have water." We are in Tucson—clean drinking water is a fundamental right, especially in the desert heat. When I asked the other bartender, she only gave me a tiny 3-ounce pour, acting as if management charges them personally for giving out water. To make matters worse, when I complained to security about being denied water, they literally laughed in my face. Having worked in the nightlife and service industry myself, I know this is a massive red flag. Maybe the establishment isn't paying their staff enough, but taking it out on paying customers by withholding water and showing zero respect is unacceptable. Great venue, but the service is trash. I won't be tipping this staff again until management steps up, improves training, and fixes this terrible service”

“The band was great but I’m giving it one star because of how rude and awful the bartender was. The one with the blonde and black long wig. The other bartender was doing all the work. Was to hard to get a drink so we left. I asked the clown bartender if they had a certain drink and she said no and walked away. It wasn’t that busy. It was 8 pm on a Sunday. We left.”
