“We attended Plantry for my friends birthday last minute and the owner was so hospitable and accommodating. I’m not usually a fan of vegan foods, but this is the first time I’ve eaten anything and not immediately felt bad afterwards. This was truly an incredible experience. The atmosphere is so comfortable, warm and inviting and feels like stepping into an episode of Bridgerton. I can’t wait to come back!”

“This was an amazing find! I've searched for a vegan restaurant in Baton Rouge for quite some time, but never came across this gem! The atmosphere and ambience were right on point! The food was delicious and presented well. The service was friendly, attentive and right there when we needed it. Of particular note was the cheese board/charcuterie selection with it's cashew based cheeses...they were 🔥🔥🔥! Definitely a must for those looking for vegan and plant-based fare in BR. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”

“I recently visited The Plantry Cafe and it was a really pleasant experience. The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The staff were all super friendly adding to the overall warm vibe of the place. The food was quite impressive and I am not even close to being vegan. I particularly enjoyed the Capri sandwich which included marinated artichoke, cashew mozzarella, tomato, basil, roasted red and yellow pepper pesto, grilled balsamic mushrooms. Overall, The Plantry Cafe delivers a wonderful dining experience. It’s a place I’d happily recommend to friends and visit again. It deserves a well-earned five stars for its great food, perfect atmosphere, and friendly service. Katherine, the owner, is a very lovely lady and an exceptional conversationalist who appears to have put an enormous amount of time into this place. It definitely shows.”

“Beautiful ambiance! The resturant is superior in decor and cuisine. The chef's presentation is quite impressive and the food was delicious, (when it finally arrived.) We had a bit of a bad experience. Our waitress made several mistakes concerning our order. I explained to a waiter and then a manager.. she made an excuse for the waitress but never apologized or took any responsibility. $135.00 for lunch is too expensive to pay for tiny portions and below average service. Management should take more time to train their servers. Getting the order correct is the most basic responsibility. Disappointed by the service and lack of resolution.”
