“I stopped by here for a little while after visiting the other two bars next door. The music was definitely good!! I literally danced the entire time I was there!! I felt that the DJ was playing music just for me because I swear he was: a) reading my mind or b) had my playlist…LOL. I mean literally song after song, he was definitely on point. I didn’t have any drinks so I can’t speak on that, but I literally had the time of my life dancing!! I came home talking about it all night to my husband about how much fun I had dancing. I would definitely come back and it’ll have to be on another Saturday night because I wouldn’t want to risk having to hear a different DJ. The DJ this night was hella dope! Hands down Proper has the BEST vibe of the bars in that little row! Highly recommend.”

“Fortunate enough to get an invite to media night at Proper, and I am so thankful for it. I love the interior, attention to detail, and texture. The space is beautiful. An amazing bar, fireplace, and the deejay area are like none other. I highly recommend you make a reservation as the space is intimate. I've been there more than a handful of times because I like the vibe.”

“I came on a Friday night after bar hopping all night. The music was fantastic with no cover was absolutely incredible. Service A WHOLE DIFFERENT the first bartender was absolutely trash. Wore her emotions about whatever was going on on her delve and it was very evident on how she treated customers. She literally tossed the cocktails menu at me with a quick apology and walked off when she returned after at least 5 - 10 minutes she said you still have to wait. I placed the order with Lee Anne who did THE MOST held her own composure and did her thang!! Served customers at least 5 at one time within the 10 minutes I waited for what’s her name to get it together. I definitely would be back to visit here again. Def worth pregaming first! Have fun yall”

“Pretty cool spot. The music records and disco ball were awesome. I also liked that the menu was inspired by music. The drinks were tasty. We went for happy hour but the deal is a little bit misleading. The one side of the menu says cocktails are 50% off while the other has the discounted prices as $10 cocktails which came out to 20-40% off depending on the drink. This couldn’t be explained clearly by our server unfortunately. Also important to note is there is a service fee added to the bill.”

“Loved the vibe but wanted more of a fluid way of ordering at the standing only bar, especially since it’s right when you walk in. And for a place that is spinning vinyls, I wish there was a place to actually dance. The furniture was beautiful and the drinks were pretty good. Staff was eh, but loved the DJ. So talented!”
