“I visited last night and had such an amazing time. My boyfriend and I shared the mussels and the lettuce wraps—both were incredible. I also tried the seasonal “stem,” which was absolutely delicious. He had been here before and couldn’t wait to come back for the smoky Old Fashioned, which definitely lived up to the hype. The bartender, Lindsey, was so nice and incredibly accommodating—she really made the experience even better. I also loved the new ambiance; it felt fresh, inviting, and perfect for a night out. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.”
“This was our first visit to The Rouge! Loved the atmosphere from the moment we walked in. We were greeted promptly and our server was fantastic with great recommendations!!! We tried some wine flights, charcuterie board, French onion soup, Goat Cheese Beignets and some sirloin tip baguettes! Everything was cooked to perfection and so tasty. We highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed! We will be back for sure!”
“This is a true hidden gem! Tucked discreetly behind the walls of a seemingly basic strip mall exterior, this wine and bourbon bar is practically a speakeasy. Refined… Amazing service… and incredible hospitality from cocktail waitresses, bartenders, and wine and bourbon connoisseurs like Leslie, Sydney, and Chris, and not to mention that it is managed impeccably by Callie and Christine, this is a must for a date night, pre-or post-dinner exotic drink, or a classic cocktail. Don’t be fooled by the bustling streets nearby, this gem is not only in the heart of the action, it is a peaceful and exquisite reprieve without the downtown commute. If you’re looking for a nice date with the charm of STK without the pretense, this spot is ideal. The wine and bourbon menu is unmatched. What a gem!”
“The Rouge Wine & Bourbon Bistro is a hidden gem in Centennial, offering a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and flavor. The ambiance is warm and upscale, with stylish Art Deco décor and a cozy vibe that’s great for date nights or catching up with friends. Their wine list is impressive, with a wide variety of boutique selections and the bourbon offerings are equally notable. The food is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented; standouts include the steak tartare and goat cheese bites are delicious. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the patio views of the Front Range are stunning. Whether you’re there for a casual glass or a full evening out, Rouge delivers a memorable experience. Highly recommend!”
“We had wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time, and we finally managed to do so. It is a classic case of reality falling short of expectations. From the outside, the place looks like a high-end restaurant, but inside you see waiters wearing short athletic shorts—looking as if they had just come straight from the gym to serve guests. Whenever something fell and they had to bend down to pick it up... let’s just say "everything was on display." We were seated, but even though the dining room was half-empty, no one came over to us for about fifteen minutes. They mixed up our order: instead of french fries, they brought a burger, and instead of dark beer, they served light beer. The mussels had a strange taste; we only ate about five of them, yet no one even asked why we hadn't finished the dish. When the table needed a quick wipe-down, the waitress didn't use a napkin or a cloth; she simply ran her bare hands over the surface, swept the crumbs into her palm, and walked away. Unfortunately, I have no desire to return.”
