“I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria I Trulli, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome, almost like stepping into a small trattoria in Italy Every time I come to San Diego, especially when I’m in Encinitas, I make sure to visit this place, it never disappoints! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel warm and personal rather than rushed. You can really tell they care about their guests”

“Our friend recommended that we visit when I spoke to him about going to the coast from Poway for dinner. I'm so glad we did! Parking was easy at 430pm on Sunday. We made a reservation and were greeted warmly & seated with warm bread & a very delicious red dipping sauce with a bit of a spicy taste! We finally narrowed our choices down to lobster ravioli & a salmon dish that were even better that we expected! Everything tasted wonderfully homemade & was presented beautifully! Ample portions and we each had a glass of wine & water. Staff was very attentive but not intrusive at all. We really enjoyed everything and were curious about the photos on the walls that added to the Italian flavors & ambiance so we did a little checking and learned what Trulli meant. “We discovered this place during the Covid pandemic while driving through the coast, it has become our favorite Italian Restaurant in Encinitas. I usually get the vodka salmon which is awesome, however, this time I had the Cioppino which was great. For dessert the usually get the creme brûlée but this time we decided to try something different, strawberry Napoleon, it was awesome!!”
