“We recently visited Tryon and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Sarah. From start to finish, she provided truly outstanding service that went above and beyond our expectations. Sarah wasn’t just attentive and professional; she was a genuine highlight of our visit. Her warm personality and impeccable timing made our meal feel special, and she played a significant part in making our entire trip to Tryon a truly memorable one. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and ask for her section.”
“We went the night after Christmas and had a great time at the Silver Spoon Saloon. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We were a table of 7 and everyone was happy with their order. I personally loved my burger and I wasn't even that hungry. I can honestly say it was the most flavorable burger I have ever had in my life(going on 70 years). Not kidding. I tried a bite of my son's sirloin with a bordelaise sauce/red wine reduction and was amazed at how tasty it was- as good as mine. We enjoyed the Karaoke and arcade games too. A very fun night for our post Christmas celebration.”
“We’ve been coming here for several months now, and the entertainment has always been on point. The food is great, the service is fantastic, and Julia is the best! It’s such a great family-friendly atmosphere, and we truly LOVE coming here. My only complaint is that now that it’s “in season,” the prices have increased significantly. We were previously paying around $4–$5 for a Michelob Ultra, and now it’s $9 for a regular bottle. Liquor prices have gone up as well. It’s disappointing that during the busiest season — when they will obviously have more business — they feel the need to raise prices instead of focusing on guest experience. We’ve celebrated several events here with large parties, and now I’m honestly questioning whether we’ll continue coming back. We spend a good amount of money here, even during the off-season, so it’s frustrating to feel like loyal customers are being taken advantage of simply because it’s “in season.” It’s sad to see the focus shift more toward profit than customer appreciation.”
“Our waitress was great but the food was not. I feel like the food was overpriced for the quality. Steak was overcooked and pre-sliced which was weird. Great bar atmosphere but don’t recommend eating here.”
“Well, well, well, we find ourselves here again at yet another mid to poor restaurant. Bring back Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares because there are ample subjects for critiques. I will begin this lengthy review by prefacing that my family as well as myself are very open to longer wait times, but this establishment took that to a new level. It was about an hour from ordering to getting our food, the reason, we later found out, being that they have a single burner in the kitchen for all the food in the establishment. The fact that the food took so long is not the fault of the staff as much as it is the obvious shortcomings of a poorly thought out restaurant. The other main stinker in this pile of mediocrity is the food. The general overuse of salt throughout the menu is obvious, but what makes the food so overvalued and under seasoned is the strange combination of lack of skill and semi-classic southern menu. A confusing combination to say the least. It feels like a bad recreation of Outback Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse but without any of the charm or reasonable prices. I want to say that I appreciate the waitress we had! She was very kind and understanding. But the overall establishment has much to be desired.”
