“Amazing experience overall! The decor is beautiful, the vibe is lively, and the servers were warm and professional despite how busy it was. Our party of 8 had to wait a bit and explored Blue Mountain Village, but once seated, the delicious, perfectly cooked steaks made it all worthwhile.”
“This is the best restaurant in the village. Our family went four times over the holidays, and every visit was excellent. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is warm, and the service is attentive. Highly recommended. Be sure to book in advance, it is almost always fully booked, and for good reason. Cheers!”
“The aesthetic of the restaurant gives off a Victorian style with its bold colour and antique picture frames hanging on the walls. The atmosphere is very calming and sophisticated. The service was excellent and professional. The food was sublime! We tried the beef tartar, the Brussels sprouts, the oysters, the beef steak and the lobster linguine. I have encountered very few restaurants that have truly mastered the art of cooking, possessing the ability to expertly combine food with spices and understand what would complement each other to create a harmonious symphony. Twist Kitchen & Cocktail is one of them. I also would like to express our appreciation to our server, Dylan, for making our first visit to the restaurant quite pleasant.”
“We had a great time here overall, we enjoyed the mealtime at the restaurant. The atmosphere there was nice, but there was a lot of smoke in the restaurant which affected us a little more because we were just where the smoke came from. We were told that there was an accident and that they were fixing it. The food wasn’t extremely elegant and fancy, but it wasn’t bad and gave us a warm, cozy feeling. It felt like everything was homemade and yummy. We all loved and enjoyed the food, especially the desserts. I recommend that you order both the desserts while you’re there because the portion isn’t a lot and they’re delicious! They only have two desserts but they’re both delicious. The crème brûlée was a little sweeter but it had a thicker shell on the top. The chocolate lava cake was absolutely amazing because it came hot, when you poked it with your spoon the filling comes out, and best of all, the rich chocolaty flavor. We had two chocolate lava cakes, which we hadn’t had double dessert in a long time! They offer a partly open kitchen and you can see a little bit of the process of your food getting made. But it’s a little smoky! Although the prices are a teeny tiny bit higher than other restaurants, I really recommend that you go and try the delicious food!”
“My friends and I were here on Jan,10th 2026 to celebrate my friend’s 22nd birthday, and we chose this restaurant because we were genuinely excited to have a nice dinner together. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing due to both service and food quality. Before arriving, we called the restaurant specifically to ask if there was a fee to bring in a cake, as my friend already had a birthday cake. We were clearly told there would be no additional charge. However, once seated, we were charged $3 per person. When we politely explained that this seemed to be an internal miscommunication and asked if the fee could be waived, we were told the rules “could not be bent,” despite being given different information by the restaurant beforehand. The bigger issue was the food and how our concerns were handled. Two of my friends ordered the steak frites, requested medium rare, and the steak arrived overcooked, extremely tough, and literally inedible. It could not be chewed and had to be spat out. When we raised this with our server Aleigh, she was dismissive and did not attempt to offer a solution. The steak was taken away, but when we asked again whether anything could be done, our concerns were ignored. After that, the server avoided eye contact and stopped checking on our table entirely for the rest of the night. Because of the poor service and food, we left a lower tip than we normally would. Upon payment, Aleigh had a visibly sassy and unprofessional attitude. As we were leaving, I slipped on the floor while wearing heels. Aleigh walked past, looked at me, and said “yeah…” in a tone that made it feel like I somehow deserved it, which was completely inappropriate and uncomfortable. Before leaving, we calmly asked to speak with the general manager Cydney, simply to give feedback on the service, food, and the server’s attitude. Our concerns were not resolved. We were asked to leave our email addresses and were told someone would follow up which we never heard back till this day. The next day, when we called the restaurant again, we were told that the staff assumed we were underage because we didn’t order alcohol, and therefore didn’t provide us with proper service. While I understand this restaurant is in a tourist area and may not need to “win” customers, that does not justify poor treatment, dismissive service, or unprofessional behavior. No guest deserves to be treated differently based on assumptions. We came in excited, polite, and just hoping to celebrate a birthday. We were not looking for special treatment, just basic respect, decent food, and reasonable service. Sadly, we left feeling ignored, embarrassed, and disappointed. This experience reflects serious issues with both staff conduct and management response, and I sincerely hope ownership takes this feedback seriously.”
