Welcome to Magnone’s –-An Italian Eatery in the Heart of The Blue Mountain Village. A Celebration of the Italian Culture with the best Food, Wine and Cocktails!
“★★★★★ My wife and I had a great experience at Magnone's Italian Kitchen in Blue Mountain. We ordered a Margherita pizza, a chicken sandwich, and two homemade juices. The highlight of the meal was definitely the pizza. The dough was exceptional, and the quality of the ingredients and the overall flavor were outstanding. It was one of those simple dishes done very well. The chicken sandwich was good, although it was made with panko-crusted chicken breast. Personally, I think a grilled chicken breast would make it feel a little more authentic and perhaps even tastier. That said, it was still enjoyable. The homemade juices were refreshing, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent hospitality throughout our visit. The restaurant is on the pricey side, but considering its location in Blue Mountain, we were not surprised. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a wonderful dining experience. If you are planning to visit on a weekend, especially during peak hours, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.”
“I had the chicken parmigiana, but I have an allergy to tomatoes. They were able to do an Alfredo sauce instead for me. I had a glass on Chilean wine. Had some Gelato too, which was so silky and full of flavour. Everything was delicious! Our server was a sweetheart too! What a great experience. Was a little pricey for lunch. With tip it came to $86. What a great way to end our trip to Blue Mountain.”
“We got lucky and didn't know Springlicious was happening and got a fantastic 3 course meal for only $40 each. Expected the portions to maybe be smaller but definitely not. The pizza is DELICIOUS. I think wood fired? Worth trying if you're in the village!”
“Firstly, I'd like to say that we enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and welcoming. But... You are nickel and dimed for almost everything in the restaurant. We asked for 1 cup of hot water and there's a charge for $1.25 We asked for additional parmesan cheese and there's a charge of $2.50... it's apparently "aged and tastes delicious" We asked for the bill and there's an automatic 2% credit card fee added even though we were going to pay in cash. There's also an additional 1% Village tax. We really wanted to love this restaurant. Given all the other restaurants in the area, we are very unlikely to return.”
“Not sure why this place has great reviews, the food is mediocre at best. I ordered the salad with goat cheese, heirloom beets, and candied walnuts, but what I got instead was a plate of mixed greens, dressed in plain oil, and maybe a teaspoon of goat cheese and walnuts. Ended up sending it back, so disappointing. Some others ordered the Cesar salad ($20) and the portion was absolutely tiny. For $20, you’d expect a meal-sized portion, not a side salad. The rest of our group did not enjoy their meals, saying it was absolutely not worth it for the price. One of us ordered a pizza which is served on a wood plank, and the plank must have absorbed the cleaning products they used and transferred it to the bottom of the pizza. The pizza ended up having a chemical smell, which was worrying and unpleasant. We reserved a week ahead of time as we were a group of 18, they assured us we’d be seated together, but when we got there they had split us up among two tables. If we knew that would have been the case from the beginning, we would have reserved two tables at our first choice restaurant. They also include random fees on your bill. They add a 2% credit card tax, a service fee, as well as a “blue mountain tax”? They also do not let you split the bill more than 4 equal ways. They automatically add an 18% gratuity for groups 6+ and they add it on top of the tax. Why are we tipping you for the tax we pay the government? So ridiculous, definitely would not come back.”
