“Stopped in for small plates. 2 adults split 3 small plates and it was enough food for us. Had great service at the bar. The bartender was funny and very helpful with making selections. Great cocktails! The inside is also very pretty. Great spot to check out!”
“Super delicious food creations - very attentive and friendly staff - energizing atmosphere. I enjoyed the beet salad with toasted hazelnuts, parsnip slivers, peach preserves and generously sprinkled gorgonzola. Followed by the best scallops I had in a while on a bed of white beans ‘n bacon cassoulet and braised baby parsnips. I much appreciate the eclectic selection of mocktails which Walkers calls designated driver. It was a difficult choice and my server recommended calm skai. It was excellent!”
“The house salad was drowning in vinegar and short on the toppings, but other food was good. I had Octopus and shared some meatloaf. Both were delicious. Octopus was sliced after grilling and was perfectly cooked. The sauce was delicious but lots more of it than needed. Interesting pairing with potatoes, but I ate them up. Meatloaf was tender and delicious.”
“Cocktails are on point, but the food is only decent. The presentation makes it look like it will be amazing, but it's not that good. I do stuffed chickens all the time at home, and this was not very stuffed. It was also dry and lacking flavor. It was bone in and sitting in vinegar, which I've never seen. The smell was not only alarming but unappetizing. The bar tender we came across was very nice and attentive. The restaurant also has a nice clean look, which I like a lot. Cocktails are 5 stars. I was going to give 4 stars on food, but my wife said to only give 2, so I'm giving the food 3 stars considering the overall price.”
“This is the most overhyped restaurant in Yellowstone County. These "chefs" should be ashamed of themselves for putting out this food, and that is ignoring the high prices. Serious question- are you precooking your meats? The short ribs were NOT fresh. Not even possible to cook them in the time between when I ordered and they were delivered and they were lukewarm at best. Beyond tough and chewy. Tasted like they were cooked yesterday then microwaved and served. They were served with cream sauce. Have you lost your minds?! The meatloaf was decent, but the potatoes served with it were deep fried. You do have a grill, right? Or an oven to roast them in? Amateur hour! The steak taco's- meat definitely not fresh. Not even warm. Tasted like it was scooped out of the bucket on the buffet line at Golden Corral. Santiago's on Grand Ave serves a better taco for $3. Literally only $3 and the steak is cooked fresh and comes out piping hot. Maybe your "chef" can get some pointers from their line cooks! The one star I gave you is for your house salad. Totally decent salad, but the bacon was old and cold. Cook fresh bacon and chop it up and put it on the salad. You ARE a CHEF, right? I presume you have a GRILL at Walker's Grill, so use it. Surely you are not so lazy as to be unable to grill a couple strips of bacon. Now, I saved the best for last... dessert. FIRE the individual who came up with this peanut butter chocolate pie. When you said Ritz crust I didn't realize you literally meant I would be eating a Ritz cracker. Both the chocolate and peanut butter fillings were bland. And then... you topped it off with chips. Plain, unseasoned potato chips on top of this pie that sits on a Ritz cracker. But wait, we aren't done... then you drizzled raspberry jam over the whole thing! In all honesty, tell the truth now, your 4yo daughter came up with this concoction, right? Because there is simply no way that any self-respecting chef could possibly compile this abomination. How is this restaurant even in business? Quit. Close up shop. Open something else somewhere else, but for the love of god, don't make or serve any food.”
