“This place can’t be beat! Ian tried, but failed miserably. They came back better than before! The food, drinks, atmosphere are fantastic! The shrimp are killer! Drinks are tasty. Live music! What more can you ask??”

“The restaurant has a great vibe, but it’s a little misleading. The atmosphere makes you expect more than what you actually get. The food is pretty basic, and the portions are small for the prices they charge. If you pay with a credit card, there’s also a 3% fee added, which is something to be aware of. The service was quick, but it was somewhat limited and not very attentive. Overall, the place looks great, but the food and value didn’t quite live up to the setting.”

“It was very convenient to be able to walk right in and get a seat right away despite how busy they were on a Saturday night! The staff were lovely and accommodating. I do think the food is a bit over priced for the quality and smaller portions. Not bad tasting, just not particularly impressive. The drinks are beautifully crafted! I got a classic margarita with a tajin rim and it was delicious. I recommend making sure your seat is at least in the path of a fan, because the Florida heat and humidity is unforgiving with outdoor seating (to no fault of Yucatan obviously). It was a little too hot and loud for my personal preference, but that’s just me! Definitely family friendly with a cute little shop! If you’re traveling with little ones, I do recommend stopping out. It’s easy to keep them entertained with all of the lights, music, and fun decorations everywhere you look.”

“Not going to lie, this is a great spot right near the beach. I’ve been here a few times and the food, service, and portion sizes are usually good. My last visit sucked. The shrimp tacos had very small pieces of shrimp and still left me hungry. The sweet potato fries were cold, and my soda was flat. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food, but our waiter seemed uninterested and like he didn’t want to be there. I’d still come back just wouldn’t order the shrimp tacos again and I’m hoping my next visit is better.”

“My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for the longest but never been able to before. So this past Sunday we made the trip and got to try it. Not the experience we were thinking we would have. We got sat immediately and it took literally 20 minutes and we still haven’t been checking by our server. We were sat in a section but he kept looking at us and not saying anything. He’d check on the other 2 tables in the small section of 6 tables and never once said anything to us. My husband went up to the hostess and said it’s been 20 minutes and no one has come and the host was so nice she was upset no one checked on us and grabbed the first server she saw and asked him to help us. His name was Valentin and he was so nice before he came to us he grabbed ice water with lemon for us and took our order. So sweet of him to accept us considering his section was all the way on the other side of the restaurant. But the food was okay. The atmosphere was cool and themed for the beach which was nice. However something I ate from there woke me up at 3 am with mild food poisoning and gave me the worst severe heartburn I’ve ever had and my husband had to take me to the hospital because I was about to pass out. Terrible experience for our first time. But the hostess and our server Valentin were very nice. Thank you to you both. Whoever our server was supposed to be had dreads and I never got his name but he could’ve at least checked on us to see if we were being helped or not because it’s common sense to see a couple sitting there for 20 min without drinks and menus still in our face. Do better please. This could’ve been such a better experience.”
