“We felt like we were in Bangkok for food tour 🤪 Really authentic Thai taste, the best of the best in Vancouver. It’s been along time we’ve been wanting to try Zab Bite, but didn’t get the chance as it’s hard to get the reservation. But now, we celebrate our friends’ bd together. Have tried set menu for 8 persons, $40 per pax. Food is more than enough. We got back with happy tummy 😍”
“My wife loves Thai food, and this spot came highly recommended by a family friend who swore it was the best Thai she’s ever had. The restaurant is easy to find thanks to its bright orange exterior. The staff are friendly, and the service is impressively quick. It does get busy around dinner time, so I’d recommend making a reservation. We came mid-afternoon, and by the time we left, the place had already filled up. As for the food, I personally found the flavors a bit on the mild side — I usually prefer the bold, intense punch of Thai spices and herbs. That said, the dishes were still well-prepared and enjoyable, likely appealing to a wider range of palates. My wife absolutely loved her meal, and the drink presentation was adorable. The restaurant’s warm, inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for a casual date night. I’ll definitely be back the next time my wife is craving Thai food.”
“We tried the $40/person set menu and got to experience their signature dishes. The shrimp wrap (add $3) is plump and juicy with crispy spring roll wrap - visually adorable and delish to the palate! The pad see ew stir-fry is my fav! The noodle was chewy yet soft and stirred fry with wok hei (the frying aroma) which elevated the flavour! The Tom kha (coconut soup) was fabulous with sticky rice and roti. I’m drilling again as I reminisce their cuisine. Highly recommended!”
“The food here is genuinely tasty and authentic. The flavors are bold, and the dishes are prepared with a lot of care—the papaya salad and grill beef were both standouts in terms of seasoning and freshness. However, the service definitely needs improvement. The waitress lacked a welcoming attitude and felt quite dismissive throughout the meal. A little more hospitality and a more positive vibe from the team would go a long way in making the experience match the high quality of the kitchen.”
“We’ve been here before and honestly had a much better experience last year. The pad see ew and pad Thai were really good back then, which is why we decided to come back. This time, not so much. We ordered the pad Thai with extra beef and the holy basil chicken with crispy grilled pork, plus a Thai milk tea. The Thai milk tea was actually really good — probably the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the food itself was very disappointing. The holy basil chicken tasted very off — the chicken pieces were huge, the sauce barely coated anything, and there was just no flavor. Same issue with the pad Thai: it felt dry, under-seasoned, and like there wasn’t nearly enough sauce. It honestly tasted like they were trying to make it “healthy” instead of flavorful. On top of that, we ordered pork sausage and never received it until after we had already finished eating and packed up our food. When it finally came out, the server asked if we wanted to eat it or pack it to go — which was frustrating, because checking whether we had even received the dish earlier would’ve avoided this altogether. I understand she was the only server, but that part was still pretty awful. Overall, not the experience we remembered, and unfortunately not one we’d rush back for.”
