“Recently, my parents celebrated their wedding anniversary at Aargon Tavern, and they invited me to join — of course, I said yes! The ambience was warm and inviting, definitely a hidden gem here in Lincoln. For starters, my parents had oysters, which my mom said were delightful. My dad and I both tried different burgers, and wow — they were packed with flavor! To cap off the night, we enjoyed the pear dessert and a perfectly crafted cosmo. A wonderful evening all around!”

The cocktails are equally impressive, creative, and well-balanced, making the bar just as much of a highlight as the menu. The atmosphere feels refined yet welcoming, making it a great choice for a special night out or a celebratory dinner. Truly delicious and worth the visit.”

“This place is truly exceptional. Every dish showed a high level of care and creativity, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The Reuben with truffle fries was phenomenal—definitely one of the best I’ve had in Lincoln. The deviled egg appetizer with steak was unexpectedly amazing, a must-try. We sampled several other dishes, and each one was just as impressive. We’ll absolutely be coming back!”

“My husband and I chose this spot for dinner since we happened to be spending the night down the street at the Kindler Hotel. My husband really enjoyed his Old Fashioned and the Tavern Dumplings but I didn't really care for the dumplings as I thought they were very gummy. The deviled eggs were quite good but $20 for 5 egg halves is pretty ridiculous! I had the Pina colada and it was probably the worst I've ever had. My Reuben sandwich was just ok. The stars of the dinner were the fries with the bacon jam and the rum cherry sorbetto we had for dessert.”

“Atmosphere is nice. The food was good. Portions are tiny and the prices are pretentiously high. $84 for a six ounce filet that came with fries. $18 Espresso Martini. Just not worth it. Plenty of nice restaurants with food as good or better at a reasonable price. Seriously small portions. Do not recommend.”
