“What a fantastic experience at the Butcher Block. Julia, our server extrodinaire, not only gave us her opinion of favorites, entertained us with FLAMING HOT birthday beverages for 2 of our party. We ordered Caprese Filets, Bison, Lamb Chops, and everyone left happy! There was 6 in our party (ages 12 to 81)!”

“Very tasty steaks (and priced to match), the Butchery is a good place for groups or duos. It also opens for dinner at 4pm, which is very convenient if you've been to a matinee at the Arvada Center. FOOD The menu is that of a good steak house. Salads were good, and huge. The steaks were cooked as ordered, and mine was a New York strip, very yummy (and priced to match, as mentioned). Sides were goodly sized. If you go home hungry, you aren't doing it right. The house cocktail list had a number of selections our group enjoyed (the mezcal old fashioned was a very pleasant surprise). SERVICE Our server -- and the manager, and other passing servers -- were all highly attentive, in part because we were there early and the floor was pretty empty besides us to start off with. The service verged on *over*-attentive: it's hard to make progress on dinner and converse with your table mates when someone is coming by every five minutes to check in if (a) everything is good and (b) anyone wants to order another drink. AMBIANCE The feel of a 70s-80s steak house, but clean and classy. NET-NET A good meal, and we will likely be back. Pretty pricey, but I felt like we got value for what we paid.”

“I love the food here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and reminds me of an old school steakhouse. The ribeye was outstanding and I dream about the us grating potatoes. The complimentary green chile cornbread is delicious - it’s like having dessert for dinner. Summer’s service was outstanding and her recommendation of the carrot cake was spot on. Having just recently moved to the area, we haven’t found a carrot cake nearly as good. We will be back. Their daily happy hour menu is well rounded and clearly loved by the locals since the parking lot literally starts to fill up right at 4 pm.”

“Stopped here on a Friday night without a reservation, but we’re still sat right away. I utilize a service dog and they were quick to give us the accommodation we requested. Who has organic Sauvignon Blanc? This place does. I wasn’t hungry so just had the steak and pineapple kebabs which were delicious. Hubby was starving so he had the full on prime rib with a loaded baked potato. They easily accommodated both ends of the spectrum and we were both very happy. Andrew was doing double duty as manager and host. Server Donna kept things very evenly pasted. A great experience and would definitely return.”

“Carlos, our waiter was excellent, humorous, personable, attentive. Outstanding service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The butchery was delicious. The best meal I’ve had in years. I had filet medallions with sea scallops, Bearnaise’ sauce, cheddar cheese mashed potatoes and thick asparagus. For Dessert I chose cream Brûlé with vanilla bean whipped cream and a raspberry. I highly recommend the Butchery! ⭐️”
