Copper Crown is an American restaurant in the East Asheville neighborhood of Asheville.
“Food was very good. We got several appetizers and a meal to share so we could taste more of what they have to offer. The scallops were seared nicely, pork belly melts in your mouth, and the risotto was velvety and packed great flavor.”
“Copper Crown in Asheville is the kind of place that feels both approachable and elevated — great vibe, creative menu, and everything we ordered was really well done. We started with the duck & rice croquettes and the potato gnocchi. The croquettes were the standout appetizer: crisp on the outside, rich and flavorful inside, and the kind of bite you immediately wish you had more of. The gnocchi was equally satisfying — pillowy, comforting, and clearly made with care. For entrées, we covered a lot of ground: bison flank steak, the Hi-Fi burger (with sweet potato fries), and an arugula salad with blackened chicken. The bison had great flavor and felt like a “you’re in Asheville” kind of dish — a little different than the standard steakhouse fare. The Hi-Fi burger was an easy win (juicy, great build, and those sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had). And the arugula salad with blackened chicken was a solid lighter option that still brought plenty of flavor. Bottom line: everything hit, and Copper Crown is absolutely a spot I’d recommend if you want a meal that feels a little special without being overly formal. Really enjoyed the Patio.”
“Copper Crown is delicious! The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was amazing—we never felt rushed. We shared several plates and every single one was fantastic. We started with the Brussels (a must-try) and the Carolina Flank Steak. For an entrée, I highly recommend the pork schnitzel. For cocktails, you can’t go wrong with the old fashioned. And don’t skip dessert—the poppy cake is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!”
“Copper Crown proves why Asheville’s dining scene shines. Our server, Brenton, was nothing short of magnificent—his spot-on suggestions and warm hospitality made the night feel like we were dining with an old friend who just happens to have impeccable taste. Huge kudos to him and the entire staff, who kept the evening seamless from start to finish. The potato gnocchi is an absolute must—pillowy, rich, and perfectly balanced. The small plate bison also stole the show, bold yet refined. Honestly, not a single dish missed the mark—some simply stood taller than others. Copper Crown is the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.”
“My wife and I decided to give Copper Crown a try after hearing good things about it, and overall we had a very positive experience. We left feeling like this is definitely a place worth revisiting, especially considering there were several menu items that caught our attention for a future visit. The food: We ordered two Hi-Fi burger plates, one with regular fries and one with sweet potato fries, an order of crispy Brussels sprouts to share, and two beers. The standout item of the meal was easily the Brussels sprouts. They were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside while still juicy and tender on the inside, with excellent flavor throughout. We would order those again without hesitation. Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were well-prepared and complemented the burgers nicely. The burger itself was very tasty and cooked well. I’m generally not a fan of blue cheese, but even with that, I still enjoyed it. The beer selection was also solid and offered plenty of good options. The only criticism we had was the menu itself. It felt a bit cryptic at times, with several acronyms and abbreviations that weren’t immediately obvious. We found ourselves having to ask questions about ingredients that could have been explained more clearly on the menu. That said, everything we ordered ended up being enjoyable. Service: Service was excellent from start to finish. We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the meal. Drinks and food arrived promptly, and we never felt ignored or rushed. Atmosphere: We sat on the covered patio and thought it was a great setting. The space was comfortable, welcoming, and made for a relaxing dinner experience. Overall, Copper Crown delivered good food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. While the menu could benefit from clearer descriptions, the quality of the meal more than made up for it. I would absolutely return to try other dishes and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience in Asheville.”
