“I got the Shinobi roll, which had marinated, seared filet mignon with a smoky scent and a gochujang sauce that paired well. The Kings roll had spicy tuna with a spicy kick, tempura shrimp (except for the end, which was a nice size), and fried onion that added a crispy texture. The plate came out hot for the Shinobi roll and cold for the Kings roll, which was a nice attention to detail. The place offers a military discount.”
“Absolutely loved the service, atmosphere, and the food. The waiter was extremely friendly. The adult beverages were different but balanced and tasty! The sushi looked amazing, was fresh and tasted amazing. We're super happy that we chose this location for this trip. Any other trip we make to Atlanta, we will be back!”
“Excellent food! Eight Sushi Lounge is a solid spot for a fun, upscale sushi night in Atlanta. You can’t go wrong with sushi, rolls, or the ramen! The ramen isn’t as salty as many others I’ve tried, which I actually appreciated. It tastes like they’re using a house-made broth rather than the typical pre-packaged base.”
“The food was excellent and deserves 5 stars, but when factoring the price tag, the overall experience is reduced to 4 stars. In summary, great food, yet overpriced. We ordered: Exceptional (A+): Tuna Crisps Excellent/Very Good (A/A-): A5 Wagyu Sando, The Monroe Tuna (crispy rice), Burlesque Roll, Bluefin Maguro (nigiri), Seared Scallops Good (B+/B): Pork Ramen OK (B-/C+/C): Yuzu Cheesecake, Orange is the New Black (salmon) So most dishes we sampled were excellent. Their tuna crisps are to die for. But their acclaimed and award-winning pork ramen was merely decent. Before tipping, we paid $215 for a two-person meal (no alcohol, only water, 8 small dishes, and 1 dessert). If they had charged us at least 20% less, this would have been a 5-star meal.”
“Really good sushi I got the scallop nigiri and the Madai carpaccio, along with the burlesque and island breeze rolls. I really enjoyed everything I ordered. It came quickly and was great quality. I will admit that it’s overpriced. I’d recommend as an option for sushi if you’re in the area and don’t mind splurging.”
